Striking in its simplistic elegance

The aged brass is what is striking on this simplistic chandelier. The fixture does not compete with any of my other furnishings or decor and yet catches the eye (in a pleasing way). It goes well with my mix of contemporary and more traditional pieces. I admit I originally drooled over the gorgeous elaborate chandeliers on offer, but I got over it. I don't need to spend all that time cleaning the dust out of the intricate nooks and crannies of those show stoppers.

Beautiful Chandelier

I will start by saying this chandelier is beautiful, I love the modern shape and the color of the brass is perfect! That said, we live in California where they have banned incandescent bulbs and I'm struggling to find chandelier bulbs that don't show white or silver at the base. It is a huge eyesore and had I known this, I wouldn't have purchased this fixture. Just something to be aware of if you live in Cali.

Beautiful classic (yet still modern) chandelier! Perfect for a dining room. Would not consider this light fixture to be aged brass as listed in description - definitely has more of a “lighter” matte gold color

Wish it was more burnished

Installed the 10-light version in the reception area of our new office. I would say it looks a little more burnished in the online photos and a little brighter satin brass in person.

It took me a long time to decide on a light fixture and am so happy I selected this one - I receive compliments frequently from visitors or from people i'm video conferencing with. This is a light fixture that both stands out and also doesn't draw too much attention to itself so it is the only thing you see in the room. I have the fixture on a dimmer, which is helpful because otherwise it would be very bright. The light arrived well packaged and there was no damage. The electrician said it was easy to install also.

Hudson Valley lighting makes beautiful fixtures. The Brigitte is no exception. It is sturdy, and of great quality. Also love that all of the pieces from Hudson Valley colors match.

We were redecorating our living room and this was the perfect chandelier. We have 8ft ceilings and were concerned about this hanging too low, but it's over the ottoman and doesn't block the tv when you're on the couch. It's so beautiful and elegant. We love it!

Great Dining room Update

I purchased this to place above my dining room table. It looks terrific. It really updates and brightens the room. The aged brass is very shiny, more so than I expected, but it works perfectly in my room.
