Mixed Feelings About Modern Comfort Modee Chair

I purchased this chair in February, so I’ve had 8 months to use and now write my review. I loved this chair when I first saw and sat in it. I got it on sale and had the store employee assemble it. I have no issues with comfort or style. I work from home 3 days a week so I’m using it very regularly and no issues with my back or support. I keep a soft throw over it so no issues with peeling leather. My only issue is just a couple months ago, the chair started squeaking ! (I don’t know if it’s normal or over time it’s supposed to squeak) but I’ve put WD40 on all the parts on the bottom of the chair and it’s still squeaks! It appears to be coming from the back of the chair. The tilting works fine, I don’t use it that often but that’s one of the features I loved about the chair.

Great lower back support

I was shopping in the store. My lower back was hurting so bad so I sat down in this chair and had instant relief. i’m 5‘2“, about 145 and have had lower back surgery. I did not need a new office chair, but it felt so good. I decided to purchase it. You do need to have the lumbar support turned tight for it to work, I read a persons review saying it hurt her back, I was shocked because I bought it for the opposite reason. In the directions when it says put it together, it does tell you to loosen the knob underneath. You do have to tighten that back up for the support once you put the chair back together.

Beautiful, comfortable, sturdy

I think this is the best chair out there for my size and body type (5'3, 138 pound woman). The lower back fits my lower back perfectly, giving lumbar support. If I lean back, the top back piece supports my head, and I can adjust the chair to let me lean way back and sit there, like a recliner (without the foot support). Very firm and comfortable seating, and looks great! It feels sturdy, and I do expect it to hold up for a long time. The vegan leather looks luxurious along with the chrome. Have not tried cleaning it yet, but would expect to use just a damp microfiber cloth, after dusting it off.

I just brought this chair yesterday and it is comfortable solid not flimsy at all. Caught it on sale. great price. I had to go out and get another chair. I just bought one two months ago and had to have this one because of the value, I’m very happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend this chair

Desk Chair

Comfortable chair without being big and bulky for small space

Don't buy this chair.

I bought this chair about 6 months ago. The back reclining never worked correctly from the beginning - would would stick in the fully reclined position. Took so much effort to get it upright again, I just don't use. Also, the vegan arm rest material is peeling. I have never had this happen to any office chair I had ever purchased.

Nice Chair, Reasonable Cost

This is a very comfortable chair at a reasonable price. The faux leather is soft. It was easy to assemble. I did modify the angle of the back with a few washers so it angled more forward.

Back pain!

I was initially thrilled about this chair, it's adorable and has lovely fabric. However, my excitement quickly faded as I found it impossible to sit comfortably for more than 10 minutes. Despite its appealing appearance, the chair is extremely uncomfortable and caused significant back pain, no matter how I adjusted my sitting position. It seems this chair is better suited as a decorative piece rather than a functional piece of furniture.

Firm (possibly too firm for comfort)

Firm and solid chair. What is gains in build quality it lack in comfort. Personally I prefer a softer chair but to be fair I use this both for work at a desk and to recline and watch movies. Great for the former but lacking for the latter.
