Pretty, but flawed

The faucet looks good. I have an issue with how solid the construction is, though. The faucet head spins almost too easily, a tap and swings way past where I was trying to place it. Also the faucet head rattles in place, as in it will rock back and forth. The faucet head is not connected very well with the body of the faucet is what I'm trying to say.

This faucet has definitely met my expectations! The sprayer pulls out smoothly and goes back in just as smoothly. The faucet produces a steady stream without splashing everywhere and easily switches to a spray. Great faucet!

Just What Was Needed

This unit looks and acts great at my outside BBQ/kitchen area. Perfect choice, if I do say so.

Very Nice and Well-Made Faucet

This is a very nice looking faucet. Very well made and solid. Grohe makes great faucets. This is not our first. We purchased it for an older kitchenette we freshened up. It had to fit under a cabinet. I don't think it would be big enough for a full-size kitchen. I like the pull down sprayer. It has a strong spray. It does stick a little when pulling it out, but that could very well be where it is positioned under our sink. My husband had to buy an extra piece for the attachment below the sink to get it to fit tightly and not move. Again, that could be our 35 year old cabinets and not the faucet. I would buy again.

The faucet is beautiful and easy to use. It didn't tale my plumber long to install. I really like it!

Need better installation instructions

Love the faucet, but the directions are very hard to follow. The directions contain pictures but no words and some of the pictures don’t make sense. Additionally, there was a packet of silicon gel included but it wasn’t in any of the pictures so no idea what that stuff was for. If you know how to install faucets it shouldn’t too hard to figure out but Grohe could certainly improve the customer experience by adding some text.

Awesome faucet

These faucets are beautiful and functional. They were quickly and easily installed by a professional plumber who also recommends this brand. We are very happy with these new faucets and love using them. The water flow is great!

Prep sink faucet

Absolutely love this faucet. Installed in my kitchen prep sink. Perfect size, sleek and easy to use! Highly recommend it !

Solid

Solid construction, easy to install, and works great.

Quality in a box, just sad I could only get it online instead of being able to buy it at the store. It was worth the wait! When our old unit decided to die, I went to my local store looking for this product. Only to be told by a store manager that it was only available online. Then he showed me what the best selling unit is at the moment. My response was that I did not the best selling one but wanted the best faucet. Had a Grohe in our last home that was over twenty years old. You get what you pay for!

I’m waiting on my plumber installing my GROHE gooseneck pull down kitchen faucet, but so far it looks great. Though it’s listed as a bar faucet I bought it for my small kitchen because it had to fit comfortably under a hanging closet over my sink. It’s perfect! Can’t wait to try out the 1.75gpm. I don’t anticipate any problems as GROHE is a reliable name in plumbing supplies.

Beautiful but faucet head has broken twice

Purchased 5 years ago. Beautiful but beware, faucet head had broken twice already. After about 2 years, the faucet head gets stuck in spray mode. You have to hold down the button to get a single stream - not practical, obviously. At least Grohe’s customer service is great, they’ve shipped out a free faucet head to me both times. However, I wouldn’t buy this model again.

Good quality and functional I like the design.

Overengineered -buy for looks not function

The faucet looks good and is solid but there are a couple of problems. First, the flow reducer that comes with this puppy is overkill. We had to pay another chunk of change to buy the reducer that lets water flow. The second problem is that the sprayer head quickly degrades to where it sticks on the spray mode. We are now on the 3rd spray head. The sprayer head is overengineered with dual springs and a tight margin for error. Though Grohe continues to replace the heads under warranty, but its never fun when the wife starts cursing me and the faucet every spring.

This faucet is amazing! It’s gorgeous, fictions well, has great flow and powerful sprayer.

Faucet with faulty part

I have a Grohe in my bathroom and bought a Grohe kitchen faucet without hesitation. However, the 48220000 part wasn’t working. And it took the plumber additional two hours of labor and a trip to the plumbing supply store to get a replacement part (another $70) to get the pressure in the faucet to work. All in, the installation cost doubled for me. Just can’t say I am a happy customer.
