I had to return this. It was for a small sink. Always have had good success with Hansgrohe products, they last a long time, look good, function well. Usually outlast the sink.

This fixture functions well. We purchased in polished nickel so it looks great when it is polished up. It seems to leave more water marks than my previous faucet.

inner hose leaking after a few years of use

Just like another reviewer (Vinod) posted, my inner hose started leaking exactly like in his photo. Same leak location. That fact indicates a design defect and flaw. Then I tried to order a replacement hansgrohe hose on Amazon but Amazon said it could not ship to my address in California but didn't give a reason. Had to have a plumber order the hose and was without use of the kitchen faucet for 3 weeks. Very annoying.

This is a fabulous kitchen sink faucet that you will love. For the pull down, I can clean the whole sink, water my bottled plants, etc. You will love the Hansgrohe product!

Pullout leaking within a few years.

Looks good. Bought it for lifetime warranty and because it matched with the appliances. But I am disappointed that the pull out hose started leaking within a few years. Also, it won’t pull out more than a few inches.

It may look like other faucets, but when you lift it and look at the construction this is high quality stuff. We received it in only 2 days from order. Very happy.

Delighted with the new faucet!

We replaced our 25+ year old Grohe kitchen faucet with this beautiful new Hansgrohe, and are very happy! The quality of the product is what we have come to expect in this brand, and I have no doubt it will last at least as long as our last faucet!

Kitchen Faucet

Quality is good, but if you press the sprayer button, you can’t get back to stream mode unless you shut the water off.

I bought this faucet two years ago and had it installed when I replaced my kitchen countertops. Recently the flow seemed to be very slow even though this faucet was the only place in the house with this problem. I checked the aerator only to discover I could not remove it to clean and it was covered with hard water mineral build up. When I called a plumber I found out I would need a special tool to clean up the clog and as a retired grandma that is not in my skill set. So I had to replace the faucet and the plumber said this is not unusual for faucets from Home Essentials Direct. Just a warning.

Water pressure sucks

Not sure if it is my install or what, but the water pressure is horrible. Flow is so weak can hardly rinse off dishes. And it kaes forever to fill a pot with water. The pressures at other faucets in house are fine so I suspect it is the faucet. It's a little better in spray mode. I would not recommend if you want a decent strong flow.

Nice weight and feel

I actually purchased this faucet by accident and liked it so much I used it in my laundry room instead. The handle had a nice weight and the spray is good-it doesn't splash all over. I like the shiny chrome and spots wipe up easily. The pull-out stays out when it is retracted and doesn't fall out like previous more expensive faucets I have had in the past. Good faucet for the money!

I should have never bought this sight unseen. As soon as I felt this faucet it was of very cheap quality. I had waited for my plumber to come and install and had not opened the box. I came home after work with it installed otherwise I would have sent it back! The spray nozzle is so light and barely has pressure when on spray and you can't go back to stream with the push of the button. You have to shut the water off. The chrome on it mostly takes on a black look to it indicating to me, the over all cheap quality! Grohe should be ashamed of this one. Such a pricey faucet and so not worth it!

Gorgeous high quality faucet. I installed one in my home 3 years ago and it still looks and works like new. I bought this one for my daughter's kitchen remodel and she loves it. The polished nickel is beautiful and the height is perfect for our use in a kitchen sink with an opening to the living room right aver it. The last thing I want to look at from my living room is a big, tall industrial looking faucet. This is a medium height, contemporary style.

Love this faucet. I now have 3 of them! Easy to use, good water flow, stays new looking- I've had the first two for over a year. Very reasonable price for an expensive looking faucet.

I bought this faucet to replace a Grohe Ladylux Cafe that failed only after 9 years. While I loved, loved the looks of the Ladylux Cafe, it had some major problems. First, the handle started making a cracking noise when I turned it to change temperature and it would pop out frequently revealing the white plastic joint/turning mechanism (that was making the cracking noise) -- highly unsightly -- and you couldn't pop it back in and have it stay. So, the white plastic joint was showing most of the time -- major eyesore. Then the (non-replaceable) membrane over the button to change between regular stream and spray disintegrated into bits only after a year or so, exposing all the little plastic parts underneath. Every time I turned on the sprayer it bothered me a lot to be able to feel the eaten-away rubber membrane and plastic parts. So, after springing a major leak after 9 years, as pretty as it looked when all was going fine, the Ladylux Cafe faucet had to go and was not going to be replaced with another. So, I bought this Hansgrohe Talis C Prep faucet it its place. It's as pretty as the Ladyluxe Cafe I'd say, and looks very similar. The finish is like a brushed steel and goes with all of my brushed nickel hardware just fine. The handle is more modern looking, but that's okay with me. The size and proportions are pretty much the same. Thankfully, the turning mechanism looks like it's made out of metal, and it turns solidly and quietly - yay! The button to turn on the sprayer is made out of metal (or maybe hard plastic that looks like metal -- I can't tell 100%) which will never develop the problems of the membrane on the Ladylux. Here's the bad, and why I knocked off 1 star. The hose connected to the pull-down faucet head is made out of the cheap-looking stuff that is normally found underneath the sink and out of sight. Except here, when someone doesn't put the faucet head all the way back, you can see it in plain sight in the middle of your sink on what is supposed to be a focal point of your kitchen -- it really bothers me. On the Ladylux, that hose was covered in solid metal, and looked high quality. Of course, I make sure the head always goes back all the way up, so I don't have to see it, but I can't say the same for my husband and kids. Hansgrohe, why did you skimp on this one spot? (Well, I know it's to save money, but when we're paying this much for a faucet, you shouldn't cut corners on something like this.) It really takes away from this product's looks Also, as some have mentioned, once you press the button to spray, it's on spray until you turn it off. The good thing is that you don't have to keep the button pressed the entire time you are spraying, which I'm pretty sure we had to do with the Ladylux, but you can't toggle back and forth. It's not a big deal because I have it on spray 99% of the time, but still. My mom's $100 pull down faucet can toggle -- why not this one?
