It looks as expected, is mostly plastic, and gives off a cool fluorescent light. The light does not match soft/warm lights. But, I plan to use it for a photoshoot, not home decor so it's okay.

YES for the lightsaber of all floor lamps! Super fun for adults and kids alike and great for a night light or mid-century modern type vibe.

Be warned, these are VERY bright and I would not advise them if you are looking for some sort of mood or task lighting. The color is a pure white, with a slight blue hue. We used them in a photo shoot, and they served our purpose well. The tube is a durable plastic and they took quite the beating. The bulb isn't changeable, so once it's done, it's done. We didn't use the feet that came with them, but the hardware appeared kind of cheap. Again, I cannot stress enough that this light has very little practical usage for the majority of people, unless you are trying to flood a room with bright white light or use as a set decoration.

Modern but its quantity vs quality!

I had been eyeing this light for a few months and wanted it in my place for a modern look but not wanting to spend a lot for the desired look. I got the shipment and the presentation is fine but you can tell it's a simple design with cheap production but the look overall is nice. I wish they had a warm light option but the fluorescent light mixed with my warm lighting adds a nice touch since I purchased two. I just hope it last!

I love doing my makeup in my XXL full length mirror in my bed room but needed a good makeup light by it. The one I had was made specifically for good lighting but looked ugly, this light is perfect! I can slide it behind my mirror if need be and it lights up my entire (large) bedroom!! Love it

Very modern and sleek. The base is not very sturdy but if it's in the corner no one would notice. For the price, definitely a good purchase.

Too much $$ for a poorly made disposable lamp

The base for the lamp is an incredibly thin, aluminum-looking material (i.e., "cheap"); the glow from the lamp itself when on is harsh and completely unwelcome; and the assembled product looks far from modern...it looks campish, if anything., ,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Then there's the issue of the bulb, which as it turns out is not replaceable. It would have been helpful if information like the fact that lamp is nothing more than a "temporary" lighting solution were included with all the other information under the description, but it isn't. I only learned about it looking at information on the lamp on other websites. When I contacted Overstock about it, I was told I would have to pay for return shipping if I wanted a refund because I should have called customer service prior to purchasing the lamp to inquire about it. I told the representative that no reasonable person would assume they are paying $** for a lamp that won't be any good once the light burns out/most people aren't running out to buy disposable lamps., ,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, End game, garbage product...most disappointing purchase I've made from Overstock., ,,,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, I would give this item "0" stars if I could.

Not as luminous as expected

I picked this lamp for its aesthetic quality and it for sure holds up to that. You even have the option to mount it which is totally cool. I wouldn't recommend opting for expedited shipping (3-5 days) because it didn't even leave Overstocks warehouse until 8 days after I placed the order. Also, when I received the package, there's a beautiful label that specifies for it to not be shipped via ***, but guess who showed up at my door, ***. I have no quarrels with the lamp only with the delivery process: 14 days as opposed to 3-5

disappointed

I bought two of them to light up my living room and it just not do the work! It also looks cheap but I can't lie, does look dramatic.
