Nice upgrade

Very quiet, relatively easy to install. I replaced a 25 year old 1/2 HP disposal with the Moen. The Moen is a lot quieter even though its more powerful. I'd give it 5 stars but i would need to wait 25 years to see how long it lasts.

Better than the last

Drain opening allows food to pass through, but saves my utensils from falling in. It's quieter than my last disposal.

Disappointed

I thought I was buying an upgrade from my old 1/2 HP InSinkErator. This 1 HP model is about the same noise level and doesn't grind as well.

I love that it's stainless steel and powerful. However it should come with the specific wire harness / connector / guard since many people will convert to hard wired. Those parts are cheap.

This work horse is ready to be installed.moen is the best brand out there, and the 1hp has amazing grinding power. This bad boy will last forever too. This is a wonderful upgrade to my kitchen.

Came with everything needed to install in the box! No need to purchase a separate power cord like some other brands. Took about 30mins to remove the old one and install this one. So far it seems very capable, it's quite and chews through everything we've thrown it's way.
