It’s not only functional , it’s beautiful. It’s for my husband’s home office. The leather is perfect. We choose the brown and it matches his couch perfect. It tilts back if you pull the lever. We did have trouble figuring out how to raise and lower the height. There was no written instructions on assembly. We just got a picture showing us all the parts and how many there should be of each. We had everything. It was pretty easy to assemble,but we had to call Wayfair to tell us how to raise and lower the height. I wonder if we were missing the written instructions or if they just don’t have any. Beautiful chair!

My husband is a big and tall guy. This chair is top quality! Heavy duty, abd extra cushion. He has loved it. We've had it fir several years now. Still in perfect condition. Thanks wayfair!

no, not at that price

I chose to buy a similar item from another company because I found a very similar item at less than half price with added features like: heat and massage, and a foot rest. For less than half the price you wanted to charge me after you added the tax and delivery and handling charges. which the delivery was free with the company I bought from.

The chair went together a little on the hard side as not all the pieces lined up as they should have to be bolted together. All in all, this is a very nice chair while you look at it. I found you can't use it for extended periods, So, if you're going to be in it for an hour or two, you have found a nice chair that will meet your needs

Not worth $400!

Close to impossible to assemble and getting the arms on and tight IS impossible! This should not be the case for a $400 chair.

We have used this chair for about 6 hours a day for almost 4 months. During the last two weeks the chair has gradually become difficult to remain seated in it without sliding off the front of the chair. We can not figure out why this is happening. We can only think of two reasons: the front padding of the chair is giving out and is lacking the support it had when new or the attachment mechanism of the chair to the base of the chair is worn or bent. The base is still securely attached to the chair. The chair is rated at up to 500 lbs and both of the users are in the 200 to 250 lb range.

Fantastic chair. Cannot be assembled as instructed. Connecting the back to the seat requires flipping them over in order to compress enough to insert the screws.

Customer service issues

Bought this chair in October for my son for Christmas. Package was damaged when delivered when we went to put together product was defective. Called customer care to have them send a new one and pick up the defective one. Was made to repurchase product. They came and picked up the other one but I am still waiting on a refund from that it’s been at least two weeks and no one can give me any answers. Other than that the chair is really nice. Just wish the service was better

Arrived on time. Easy to assemble and looks impressive. Purchased as a Christmas gift so the recipient hasn’t seen it.

easy to put together, sturdy and comfortable

Very comfortable, highly adjustable office chair. I spend 6-10 hours per day in the chair. It lost a star because the adjustments for the angle and front and back of the arms click very loudly and at the slightest touch. The armrest vertical adjustment has a push button and locks into place quietly.

Manufacturing defect in chair back

The right arm will not attach to the chair I received. The mounting point is higher on one side of the chair back than the other, it is a manufacturing defect. I have reached out to Office Depot for help in resolving the issue and they forwarded me to Veyer, their subcontractor and there has been no help for 3 weeks in resolving the issue. I also contacted the manufacturer of the chair and they will not help me either since I purchased through Office Depot. They say that Office Depot must resolve the problem. Buyer beware!
