These do not work with 8" Amber ceiling speakers

Just learned the hard way. Need to recut every hole in my house and rip out this plastic thing. What a waste of time and money.

In-accurate size. I contacted support before purchasing, they told me the bracket had a 8 inch inner diameter. This Braket has a 10.2 inner diameter. The support rep didn?t even have proper details on this item, will have to return them, had to order the proper ones off Amazon because they didn?t have the 6.5 inch in stock direct (it hd an 8.3 inner diameter).. The product works, but support is lacking here big time.

Great product, great price

I bought the 6.5 inch round bracket to go with speakers that were marketed as 6.5 inch speakers. The cutout for those speakers is 8.25". This 6.5 inch bracket from Monoprice fits the speakers perfectly.

Will never build without these again

Last time I did a house reno project I roughed in the speakers with single-gang boxes and spent hours cleaning them out and cutting holes. These made that whole process go away and resulted in perfect cutouts from my drywall crew. Wouldn't do it any other way ever again. Buy as many of these as you need and grab a few spares!

Cheap, break easily, no screws included, measure about 10" and most 8" in ceiling speakers are around 9.5" cutout so these are a bit too big.

Don't waste your money.

For the money , the brackets are totally not worth it. I'm sure there are better products available. If i said they are Very flimsy it would be an understatement.

TERRIBLE!!

If I could give this bracket a 0 rating I would! The brackets seem to be a little flimsy and fragile out of the box. I bought about 20 of these for a new construction home along with the 8" Monoprice Alpha series ceiling speakers...same brand, same size, you would think they would fit without a problem right??.... WRONG!! They don't even come close!! So I had these speakers and brackets in storage because I wasn't at that stage in construction, never tested them because I assumed they fit....well now I'm stuck with the speakers because I bought the Polk audio RCi80 speakers and they barely fit! However, it worked so it saved me from my wife killing me (I had the sheetrockers cut the holes to fit the brackets!!) So, I do not recommend these because you don't know if they will actually fit your speaker...unless you buy the Polk audio.... if you're looking for Monoprice Alpha 8 inch I have some 1/2 off!! Lol
