It may look like alot to put together, but i had in working in 30 min. This Cimarron Toilet is a solid 2 piece dream.

What the flush?!

I bought this toilet for our bathroom remodel because I liked the look. Unfortunately, it’s the worst performing toilet I ever had. The bowl would not fill and two different plumbers said there was nothing wrong, but we had to scrub the bowl after every use. Then why did kohler reinvent a flushing mechanism that has worked for a century? It either ran or failed to fill the tank and we constantly had to remove the tank lid to tap the mechanism into action…until I dropped the lid and it shattered. That’s when I replaced the whole toilet with a good old American standard for about the cost of replacing the kohler tank lid. Now a second new Kohler toilet in the house is having flush issues and will have to be replaced. My American standard worked for at least 40 years before we had any problems.

Wrong Tank Shipped

The wrong tank was shipped with the coorect toilet base. Bolt patterns were completely different. When trying to resolve the issue and get the correct tank which goes with the base, the communication from Lowe's was difficult. Customer Service told us to return the tank and it was picked up and returned. The store then told us both parts (base and tank) needed to be returned despite the earlier communication from Customer Services. Had to uninstall the correct base and return, meanwhile toilet was non-operational for over 1 week.

Great Purchase

Very clean looking lines, and I am happy with the quality and installation.

Don't special order from Lowes.

I had Lowe's order it directly from Kohler 4 times and each time it came in broken. Obviously was not packed right and was handled roughly. I also think Lowe's is partially responsible because it seems like they just sent it back with no instructions to Kohler shipping or the shipping company on how to pack and safely ship this product. Obviously it is a very fragile product which makes me wonder How durable and sturdy it really is. I cancelled this order today after almost two months of frustration.

Arrived broken and had to replace with model from the store or the plumber would have charged an additional $800 for another service call.

Cannot be cleaned

I would love to speak with a representative. The hole at the very bottom cannot be cleaned! We have tried everything. I see from the reviews, we are not the only ones. I’m embarrassed for anyone to use this toilet. Any suggestions to clean it would be appreciated.

No toilet seat included even though in photos.

Did not come with toilet seat. Not mentioned anywhere in description. Shown in all of the photos with a toilet seat. I believe that is false advertising. Also, seat was not immediately available at local Lowes so I had to purchase a different seat from a different manufacturer.

Bad delivery

I’ve ordered this item twice and both times it was delivered to the store broken.

Where is the toilet seat??

After paying over $600 for a toilet (which is ridiculous), ours didn’t come with a seat!? If we had known that we would have to buy a separate toilet seat, we would have bought a completely different toilet! We have bought a lot of toilets over the years and I have never had one that didn’t come with a seat. So disappointed!

I picked the toilet up from HD and it was completely smashed. I’ve heard of other people with the same problem. Sometimes multiple times. The delivery drivers couldn’t care less about tossing around an expensive toilet. Do not order toilets from HD!

Bad design

I am a plumber by trade and have been installing all different kinds of toilets for years. Terrible design for securing the tank to the toilet. Absolutely no way to get a sturdy fit with this horrible bracket system. Yes it works enough to keep the toilet from leaking and yes it’s functional but the tank wobbles around. You can tighten it all you want want but at a certain point the bracket just bends because the mounting holes are too far away from the vent of the bracket making it wobble no matter what you do. Over complicated. Over designed. And over priced. Would not buy u less you want to have a tank that wobbles and bangs of the toilet.

It didn’t come with a toilet seat. that was kind of dumb because it’s already a special order color and so I went to install it and I couldn’t sit on it because I had to deal with ordering the toilet seat and then make another trip to go get it so Maybe make that more apparent when purchasing the toilet seat come separately

Nice toilet

It’s very nice. I’m not a fan of the higher, elongated seat but that’s not a dig at the product, just at Lowe’s display method, up high on a wall where you can’t try them out. It works great, quick strong flush. Skirted trapway is easy to clean.

I like the 360 degree spin of the water and how quietly it flushes. The only thing I did not like was the plastic seat. It is flimsy and "bends" when I sit down. Check the seat to see if it can be replaced with a sturdier one.

Part missing & caps don’t fit, Hard install

When we removed our old Toilet & started installing Cimmaron step by step, we found a cam nut missing. Although because of the skirted design, it wasn’t easy to lineup bowl with ready lock. The install was completed without cam nut. Tried to install the cap over the screw, it won’t install. See pictures. Have contacted Customer service but so far haven’t resolved. Will review after my case is resolved to my satisfaction.
