Keep in mind the glass on this is frosty on purpose. It definitely gives an "old" more vintage vibe. I live in an 1860 farmhouse and this is what I needed to fit in with my home on the front porch. Excellent packaging, came in a few days, and exactly as pictured. On the larger side of things-again I wanted this because I wanted it to be in view from my street which is a bit of a distance away.

Love my lantern style light fixture

Luckily I had my father in town to install this light, but it's beautiful. We live in a neighborhood with French/British Colonial inspired homes, so I wanted something black with a lantern style to match my "pottery barn" taste in lights and lanterns. It looks fantastic hanging outside my front door at the entry way. I have another small flush mount light on the other side of my porch so I got black so it would match that fixture. It has an open bottom which I wasn't sure about at first (I figured it would be full of bugs) but the bugs don't get stuck in there like many light fixtures, and it's also easy to change the bulbs. The cream seeded glass also diffuses the light nicely. This is a high quality light fixture and the second major light fixture purchase with Capital Lighting. They don't disappoint and I will buy from them again.

I would buy this product again.

The light hangs outdoor over our entry. It puts out great light and relatively easy to install for somebody with no electrical experience. The only thing I did not like were the opening closing of the links when you picked the desire length of the chain.
