Never but never buy this

installed, with much effort, because it was used. On first try, it opened, but would not close properly. After calling ALEKO many times for adjustment info they failed to offer any assistance, because it was purchased from OVERSTOCK. Overstock was in NO WAY helpful .The awning is in the city landfill. Do Not purchase this awning under any circumstance.

This product looks great and was not a bad price. However, the cost to install from by (WayFair) was twice the price of the product ($600,00). (something is wrong with that.) I installed a few months ago and due to the hot sun, the colour is fading, the screws are rusting and (being galvanized instead of chrome, were cross threading.) I wanted some additional screws, and the manufactured did not have and you cannot pickup at your local hardware stores. What a product, customer service nightmare. Wayfair, you should demand better due to possible reputational risk. Additionally, the fabrick is dry-rot. What a waste of my money.

Horrible directions. Had to order the mounting triangles to mount hoping they would make awning more secure and higher. We have had this awning up through two rain storms and it has filled up and almost collapsed both times even when it was retracted to half its length one thinking less material to hold the water would make it able to hold the water. I now have it extended about 4 feet to see if water will run off and not pool into the middle. Terrible product unless you live somewhere where it doesn’t rain. I would like to get a refund and just trash the awning, as it’s not worth using.

I ordered three times and return them because I never got the right color frame. You stated online you had black and they kept sending white even after customer service call to confirm.

The awning material is very thin and the instructions were absolutely terrible

Put it up work good for a few days that I have used it but now I went outside one day to let it out and motor not workn no more n I got to open it manually

Now that I have the opportunity to write a review of this product, in my opinion the fabric of this awning is very bad, it is all discolored, the metals that hold this awning have also been bent.

We ordered the awning too late for this summer 🙁 and so it's going into storage until next year and hopefully it will be as good as advertised

its ok for the value. first one came with a mangled arm so they sent a replacement at no charge.

Overall, I am happy with the awning. Directions at times were hard to follow but the video helped. I had one question and customer support was excellent.

It does not withhold the wind capacity. It bent on the first night. I bought two but it took so long to install it that I missed the 30 days and now im stuck with two awnings.

Great affordable awning

Great awning for the price. Installation is not for everybody, took my time and had some help. Between Youtube vidios and instructions was able to get it up. Saved thousands over popular awning installations.

Disappointed Beyond Belief

After speaking with customer service and waiting while they updated my online account, I placed my order. The very next morning I received confirmation of my order and found it was still going to the wrong location. I was told by Lowes that I would have to contact Fed ex, called fed ex and was told I had to talk to Lowes. Lowes then told me that since my product was direct shipped I would have to contact them. Later in the day I received calls from the shipper and from Lowes telling me this had been corrected. Two days later I received update from Fed ex and found that it was still going to the wrong address. Again Two hours on the phone one company telling me I had to call the other company. and finially calls from both Lowes and shipper telling me this had been resolved. Delivery day comes around and it's still delivered to the wrong address. I start with Fed ex this time hoping that I can get them to retrieve the package. But because I am not the shipper I can not do this. Shipper is closed and Lowes hung up on me twice and then laid the phone on the counter and I wait 25 minutes listening to their conversations while I waited. More calls with the shipper , more calls to Lowes. Shipper informs me they are prepared to replace the order but Lowes must do their part by arranging shipping again. Lowes refuses. Finally, a frustrated call to Lowes cooperate number where I was told if I want my money back I would have to dispute with my bank.

Instructions lacked clarity but product performance is good.

It’s a decent product, but the assembly instructions are thin and support is nonexistent.

Great awning for the price. Instructions unclear and not always correct.

The awning is great but the instructions are horrible - even the videos are not too helpful. It’s all set up but the remote will only extend not retract so I have to do it manually. The tool they sent to set the levels broke. Waiting on c all back from Aleko regarding these issues!
