A very impressive wall mounted fireplace. I love how real it looks, and how the lights are vivid. It took some time for my handyman person to set it up, but it was worth it. It does make a slight noise when you put on the heater, and it takes out a lot of electricity when the heater option is on. Also, the remote can use an update.

Disappointed

Purchased this unit in late feb of this year and finished installing the unit in early may. The unit it looks nice but it has this loud vibrating humming noise when with only the visual on. I expected more. Can’t figure out how to get a warrant claim in, so super disappointed

Overall this is a great modern electric fireplace. We needed a very slim profile (in terms of depth) and this was the slimmest one we could find on the market. We like that the flame colors, base color, and speed can all be adjusted. The flames are not the most realistic probably in part to the slim depth but it is still very pleasing to look at!

Nice unit but…

Nice unit which looks and works great. A minor quality issue shortly after installation was an irritating clicking noise whenever I turned it on.

We installed this fireplace on a feature wall in our basement renovation. Looks great feels great. Could be happier with this purchase. Highly recommend napoleon products. I have one of your bbqs that's more than 15 years old and still going strong!

Great buy!

Originally we bought a 60 inch deep for the Livingroom. We had a budget and although we looked at fireplaces up to 3 times the price, the extra heat available from the Alluravision sealed it. We couldn't have been happier. So my wife and I decided with the money we saved to buy a 50 inch slimline for the bedroom.

Amazing

We bought the Alluravision for a cabana renovation and it had performed beyond our expectation and the ambiance/beauty is also better than imagined. From seamless wall mount to use it is wonderful. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a beauty and heat.

I can't say enough about the Napoleon Alluravision™ Electric Fireplace (NEFL42CHD-1). It's truly the star of our living room. The installation was straightforward, and the deep wall mount design gives it a unique and modern look. The lifelike flames are mesmerizing, and the LED lights can be adjusted to set the perfect mood.

We are currently remodeling our fireplace area. As you can see the fireplace hasn’t been completely set yet. This fireplace far exceeded our expectations. We are very happy with all the color options and adjustability this fireplace has. It is very bright and adds a very modern look. We can’t wait until our stack stone is done so we can completely enjoy this fireplace.

Is it real!

Just installed our new electric fireplace. What a breeze. Once I built the framework for a built in installation I put it in the space with four screws plugged into the wall and that was it. The flames are the most realistic I’ve ever seen with enough adjustments , flame speed , color and brightness to dial in into a very realistic and soothing flame. The heater Is very adjustable and blows quite well. Very happy with other the purchase

First of all, the picture doesn't do it justice. This looks really great in person. It is very relaxing watching the way the flames move. With the remote, you can change the color of the crystals along the bottom, change the flames shown, as well as their height. My favorite combo is red crystals with yellow flames. Feel warm and cozy.

We are still getting to know each other

Purchased for ambience and look and ended up with product that seems high quality with good function.This stove has lots of good features I never expected. 2 broken ceramic logs despite flawless exterior packaging condition. Hope to get at least 3 years trouble free stove to keep me happy. As the living room redecorating and stove install progresses I am getting to know this stove quite well. -30 outside tonight. This stove keeps the room cozy. Will update when tile surround and flooring are installed. If not for broken logs my rating of this purchase would b 100% positive.

Great Additon To Your Home!

Love the fireplace and its appearance. Reason for a 3 star is I was disappointed with customer service. The company represents 4 flame colors. Orange, yellow and blue are on the remote. I assume the 4th is a combination of the 3 colors but the rep could never confirm that was the fourth color. While this is a minor issue, what was a major problem for me was the orange and yellow flames are, in my opinion, exactly the same. So while I love the product, if it is important to you to have a yellow and orange flame, I think you find this not to be the case. But I still would buy the fireplace!

This looks fantastic in our wall, love the design and the color options. The flames look realistic and the heater provides enough ambient heat that it quickly warms you up when you are in front of it. We do not use it to heat a full room, just "to get the chill off". Assembly of unit is easy, instructions are clear and easy to use. A couple of installation issues though - the height / width clearence specifications are incorrect. If the unit was not screwed together I guess they would be right, but because of the screw heads I had to add a 1/2" width and height to my inner frame. The depth was another issue, The cord protrudes out the back of the unit on the far left side, there is no option to route the wiring to the bottom without modifying the unit (that I could find) even if I was to wire it in directly the wiring required that it come out the back of the unit on the left side. In my case (wall mount) I had to cut the existing drywall away and create a chasam to the far left side of the unit. So what I am saying is that it would have been nicer to have an option to route the wiring directly down as well.

Great electric fireplace

My contractor used the specs given to prepare the space for the fireplace as it was back ordered. It actually came a month earlier than expected which was awesome! It is in a large basement space and puts out enough heat to take the chill off the room and provide ambience. The fan is relatively quiet and with the thermostat the heat can be adjusted easily. It's the perfect fit for my new space! I chose this one after carefully researching price and specifications and am so glad I did.

My wife wanted a electric slim fireplace for our new home. I decided to purchased the Napoleon Alluravision based on the receives. After the installation, she turned on the system and it worked perfect. The different settings are easy to navigate and the look is amazing. The only item that needs improvement is the small remote control. I would like to see a larger, slim remote like. Not a deal breaker at all, as everything else works percect. We removed our Original Fireplace and installed the Napoleon 50in Slim and the living room comes to life....

Fantastic fireplace!

I spent a good deal of time trying to find an electric fireplace that would fit in a very tricky spot. We built an addition that includes an unheated three seasons room, and after it was built we decided we wanted something to take the chill off that room if we wanted to use it during the colder seasons. But finding a slim wall mount fireplace with front facing vents isn't the easiest task to do after the fact. Fortunately, we found one here and after calling to ask a few questions, decided to make a purchase. The fireplace arrived in two days and we had it up and running in fairly short order. I will say the directions for assembly could be better. We fumbled our way thought the directions and did a couple of things backwards before figuring things out. But it's not rocket science and with a little patience it can be done by just about anyone with a little basic mechanical common sense. We LOVE this fireplace. It puts out a nice amount of heat and the blower fan is super quiet. We do hear a kind of funny soft "chirp" from it periodically when it runs, but that might disappear with more use. (We've only used it a few weekends so far) Bang for our buck, this was probably one of the best decisions we've made since building our addition. I only wish we'd thought about adding an electric fireplace BEFORE we started construction as I would have definitely made plans to make this fireplace more the center of attraction instead of an afterthought. If you're thinking about adding an electric fireplace and don't want to go with a built-in version, this slim model is the bomb. You won't need a contractor to install it and your normal home amperage should handle it just fine. (Another huge perk!) Overall, this was a fantastic experience all-around.

We love our Alluravision! I researched for what feels like forever for the right 60 inch electric fireplace. It was actually hard to find in stock anywhere so I was relieved that Wood Majestic had it. And it shipped and arrived right on time, and was well packaged. I didn’t use the big clear crystals because I think they look goofy, but I used most of the small crystals (both clear and the brownish ones) and all the logs. I’m glad went with the deep Alluravision because it just looks nice, I think if it was more shallow it would look super fake. I also love the shape and movement pattern of the fire. It looks great on speed #3 with the red flames on 4 and the blue ones on 2-3. Purple is my favorite color for the base of the fireplace. We never really use the overhead light because it makes it look like a disco ball lol.

Excellent fireplaces excellent product easy install I got professional I already installed lots of NAPOLEON electric fireplaces. Customers are very satisfied with them. Only one thing I would like to upgrade on a surface mount slim models to include some trim to finish nice and clean look with Unit and wall. I used black quarter round on this installation to achieve nice and clean finish. Other then that Very Satisfied and will continue to purchase all my future projects.

Beautiful addition to our living room!!

It's not even on the wall yet but there's just no way a picture could do this Justice! I read a billion reviews and this site and the Napoleon Fireplaces are top for a reason. It's just the coolest thing ever, the color options are great and the glass rocks turn colors on the Great they said on as well. If it's at a decent amount of heat if that's what you want it to do. I also got the Napoleon 32in The Lure upright for my bedroom and it's every bit as cool as this one. Shipping was perfect. I've already bragged about it on my Facebook and people love it oh, I also sell new homes for the biggest builder in the country and I've referred this to my buyer the think they want a real fireplace. I'm just blown away. You won't be sorry :-)
