Love the style & customer service, but quality is shaky

Pros: I absolutely love the style/design of these bookshelves. They fit in perfectly with my living room and serve the exact purpose I needed. Customer Service was amazing. I had issues with one bookshelf and they immediately sent me another one, free of charge & I got to keep the shelf with issues as well.

Beautiful and functional

These are so pretty and I love the fluted features. It provides hidden storage as well as great shelves for decorations and photos for our guest room. The only thing I didn't care for was the handles-- I was hoping for a real antique brass look/finish but they are sort of a dull gold paint. This takes some time to put together and some effort to get the hinges right so there's not a gap in between the cabinets, but the final product is worth it!

Amazing option for long wall

We were looking for something for our long living room wall that was both functional for some storage and appealing for decor. This was the perfect option!

I was excited by all the great ratings but unfortunately this furniture is much lower quality than expected. The wood is soft so the edges of the shelves and front doors were scratched and small pieces of wood were falling off despite the good packaging. There is a big variations of color tone between the front doors and the rest of the frame. It looks good at a distance only, hence the 2 stars rating, and definitely not worth the price (even if home Depot sells it $100 less than on the Nathan James website). I do not recommend

We bought 3 of the Mid-Century Fluted Wall Bookshelves with Doors Warm Pine. Overall I love the way they look. The color is beautiful and the material is of good quality. I wish they were a bit taller.

Amazing Quality

The bookshelves were super easy to assemble. They have a sturdiness to them that lets you know they are a higher quality than many other products. The finish is beautiful. They shipped extremely fast and came with a lot of protection inside. I absolutely love them. They add a beautiful finish to our living room.

Poor Quality, No Customer Service Response

This piece was perfect on paper, but then it arrived in the mail. The quality looked great upon unpacking, but when assembled a flimsy strip of the exterior wood veneer came off, and the doors had a 1 inch gap. This is really unfortunate because it matched all of the other furniture in my space. For the cost and the quality issues, I would definitely not recommend this item.

Great Bookshelf but Requires Full Assembly

We love the way the bookshelf turned out but we were humbled by the assembly process. It took us 2.5 hours to complete. We were proud once it was done but didn’t realize it would require that much. The bookshelf is great quality and heavy! Will be a sturdy piece of furniture where we have it installed.

Love this piece

Very easy to install (and instructions were entertaining!) well made and looks fantastic in my space. Also ordered the matching cabinet.

Exactly as pictured!

These bookshelves arrived quickly, and after assembly look exactly like the picture! The only reason this review is 4 stars instead of 5 is that they were quite tedious to assemble.

Black Wall Bookshelf

This piece fit our space perfectly. When we first ordered and tried putting together, 2 parts didn’t line up correctly. Called customer service and they shipped out a replacement at no extra cost. By far, the BEST customer support I have ever had. Beautiful bookshelf. High quality for the price too!

Great bookcase. Great customer service.

The bookcase is great quality and looks gorgeous. I did recieve it with one incorrect part. It was replaced and at my house within 2 days. Very happy customer.
