Beautiful rug and I love the feel of it barefoot. And yes! For the people that don’t understand how wool works, it will shed for many weeks and months to come. If you don’t like that then buy something fake. Very happy with it and I’m sure I’ll have to vacuum 1-2 times a week but I’m okay with that. It’s worth it. The lamp in the corner is also from wayfair and the bed frame.

I purchased the same rugs for living , kitchen, and hallway! The color is perfect! From other reviews I thought the gray was going to be more prominent but really just perfect more white than other gray and beige marbling. It is thinner than other rugs I have purchased but very soft under bare feet. It they were thicker they would be a 5 star. Very happy with them!

I love the carpet now that it's been 8 hours. At first, I thought the natural imperfections, which don't show up in the marketing images, were a bit too much for the look I was going for. Fast forward, the carpet has character and helps balance other aspects of my apartment living room. It's well made. I placed a rug pad down two days prior to let it settle. I do not notice a smell or shedding, as I've read in other reviews. It was well packaged, and I'd rate it a high-quality purchase at a great price point. Happy shopping!

So plush!

Love the feel of this rug and with a 1/2 rug pad it truly feels and looks like a much more expensive rug. Holds up exceptionally well for the traffic.

Cozy Morning Delight with a Dash of Maintenance

This rug has become the unsung hero of my bedroom! Waking up and stepping onto its plush surface is like treating my feet to a morning spa session-it feels absolutely amazing. Plus, it adds a whole new level of character to the room, elevating its ambiance. However, the downside is its shedding tendency. While it's not a deal-breaker, it does require frequent vacuuming to keep it looking pristine. Overall, it's a small price to pay for the luxury and charm it brings to my space.

Metal pieces in rug / rug size smaller than stated

I love the look of the rug in general. It sheds, but all wool rugs shed. What I'm not happy about is it is way smaller than 8x10 AND there were small black metal pieces that I stepped on (even after vacuuming) that got stuck in my heel. I saw another review stating the same thing.

POOR QUALITY. AVOID.

DO NOT BUY. I'm barely out of the "30-Day Return Window" and this is already falling apart. Safavieh and Bed Bath & Beyond won't do anything since it's outside of the window. Don't buy this brand. I got 3 rugs and ALL 3 are falling apart. I returned the other 2 because it was within the window. Safavieh is a cheap company with poor products. I went with a luxury brand and will continue to do so to avoid cheaply made, disintegrating rugs. Avoid safavieh at all costs! Crappy materials from a crappy company with cheap products. Google their poor reviews and all reference extremely low quality. Save yourself the time and money.

Poorly made. Sheds everywhere, drives me crazy

This is the worst rug I have ever purchased by far. It sheds - not just a little, but clumps and clumps of fabric. It looks like I have a dog or other pet in the house. Despite sweeping daily, the rug just sheds infinitely. I've had it for a month and tried vacuuming it multiple times, but it didn't help. The rug looks nice, but upon closer inspection it's clearly low quality. Some of the threading is ripped in places, and there are random colors like blue and red visible in the ivory/dark gray version of the rug I purchased. Wish I could get my money back, but the return window has closed.

Quality rug for a great price

This rug has exceeded my expectations. It's great quality for the price. I would highly recommend it. It looks great in my guest room and really elevates the look.

Pretty - but impossible to keep looking good.

This rug looks great - however it's nearly impossible to keep the black areas good. Every little spec shows and fuzz adheres to it. The white part is super easy to keep groomed. Whatever finish they used on the black wool is bad.

Looks great...until you use it!

Very poor quality rug. We have owned it for 3 months and despite being in a very low traffic area in our home, the rug fibers are already fraying and pilling. The rug looks 10 years old already. Very disappointing!

Not worth the pilling and shedding

It’s beautiful and the perfect color I wanted as a creamy white. But the pilling is out of control. I used a fabric shaved and it helped a bit around the edges but not salvageable anywhere else :(

I like this rug, the color is what I want and it is very comfortable to stand on it. Delivery is very fast. I use vacuum to clean the rug, it’s easy.

Beautiful area rug!!!

Beautiful area rug!! Worth every penny. Can't wait tfor the larger size to restock so I can purchase a larger one for my living room area. Rug is thick and colors are vibrant. I've had it for a.few months and no issues with shedding or colors mixing. Vacuumed with a roomba daily.

Was initially happy with this rug - it’s soft and attractive. However, we’ve had it for about 6 months and it will NOT stop shedding. It’s all over our house no matter how often we clean up, the fibers are everywhere. We also found a sharp metal pin in it like another reviewer mentioned.
