Great File Cabinet

I gave this item 4 stars because it could have been made with slightly better hardware. I would say that the hardware is a bit better than decent. It holds up really well and rolls easily. It wasn't too difficult to assemble. The colors are good and the size is perfect for us. Delivered on time as promised.

Great 2 drawer cabinet for filing

Great for filing all my paperwork and keeping my bills organized. I loved the color and the steardiness.

Disappointing

This looked really nice in the picture. However, when I received it was made of all particle board and had to be assembled. I was disappointed. I thought it was metal with a laminate front. Not near as sturdy as a metal cabinet. I guess I should have read the description better.

Nice piece of furniture but difficult to build

The product is very durable and strong - but man, it took a while to put it together. It is beautiful and I hope it will last for years.

Nice File Cabinet

Very nice file cabinet. It came assembled except for the wheels, which were easy to install with just a screwdriver. The drawer fronts are a little more red than I was expecting. I was really looking for something with more brown than red thus the reason for 4 stars vs 5. It would be nice if the stores actually had a drawer front sample to see actual colors. My store did not have this item on display.

Not worth the investment

The quality of the machined pieces is good, however, once assembled the unit was not square, the drawers did not close properly without hitting each other and the lock did not hit the plate correctly in order to lock. The item is being returned.

Good buy for the money

Product looks better in person than advertised. Love it now that it's put together. It was difficult to put together due to the fact that quite a few of the pieces were not labeled as shown on the instructions. I don't don't if the labeling rubbed off or it they were never there to begin with. Other than that issue I love the piece

Well made.

The file cabinet is well made and sturdy; and it was easy to assemble. I wanted an under the desk file cabinet and it is just right. However, if it were to be out in the open; it would not work because the only parts that are finished wood vaneer are the two fronts on the file drawers. The rest of the cabinet is just painted gray particle board. Like I said, it works for me because the file drawer fronts are the only visible parts to be seen under my desk; and they look great.

I bought this to slide under the desk I bought in the same color/series. Heavy product, however the drawers don't line up evenly. When I open a drawer, the unit starts to slide out from under the desk.

Great Product...Great Price!

I already had several of the Bush Cherry/Graphite Gray desk and file products, and have used them for several years with total satisfaction. This additional rolling-2 drawer file cabinet is no exception. It is sturdy, works perfectly, and is exactly what I needed.

NO all around on this 2-drawer file cabinet

The website gives over 315 reviews for this file cabinrt but I that I ckudes reviews for desks, bookcases and everything else they make so hard weeding thru it. I was unaware it had to be assembled and once received, the package was enormously heavy for its size So I knew I wouldn't be able to do it. I read the reviews (better late than never) and should never have purchased this. I previously had trouble putting together bar stools with these cam locks and they are impossible to line up. I returned this without even opening.

Functional, could be improved.

I'm not 100% sold on this cabinet. It "feels" a bit cheap when assembling so I have concerns about how long it will last. Compared to the hutch and credenzas I purchased anyway. The drawer bottoms are pretty flimsy, so it relies completely on the side panels for strength. Also be cautious of putting too much into the file cabinet on the top drawer as it has a tendency to tip forward. I also would have liked non-stationary casters all around, as opposed to 2 swivel and 2 standard. It makes it a bit difficult to maneuver. Fortunately, it won't be moved often.

Assembled - but not fully

I bought this because it was advertised as assembled and due to my age/ability thought it would be. When I saw the casters were not on it I had trouble finding them as they were "behind" the bottom drawer and had to have someone take the drawer off to get them out. Also, I had to find someone to put the casters on it as it was too heavy for me to do it myself, so I was a little disappointed. That being said, I would buy it again once knowing the facts regarding having to have the casters put on for me.
