The rug is well-made, sturdy and looks very good. It has a gripping back so there is very little movement, once the rug is placed. The colors are just varied enough to help pull together the bedroom's valances, bedspread, etc. It was a very good choice for me and is what I was hoping for. Strong 'recommendation'.

Extremely rough, and also smelly and unattractive

This rug is extremely rough, even for a natural fiber. Walking on it with bare feet isn't an option at all, so I would consider it only acceptable for outdoor use, if that. The color varegation gives the impression that it is dirty. It also smelled like it had been stored in someone's basement for a long time. It's a hassle to return things in-store during Covid and with holiday shopping come on, but I will have to do it. I wouldn't even consider keeping this.

Great rug

I am going to be completely honest and tell you why I wanted this particular rug and hope Overstock wants completely honest reviews and reasons for purchase. Not only did it fit the look I had in mind but it works well for my cats. Anything fluffy (such as a bathroom rug) and brown (my house is all neutral colors) and the cats think they can use it for a litter box. I have thrown away so many rugs. I noticed however they do not seem to bother with the flat rugs. I researched every rug on Overstock to find the right color combination and texture and bought this one. Flat, light colored (so it bears no resemblance to dirt). They are leaving it completely alone. They do not even scratch on it (which was also a concern). I am getting ready to pull up the carpet and put wood look tile in my front room and I will be buying another one. Very happy with this purchase. Also, it is not to bad on the feet. Yes, somewhat of a straw texture but overall pretty good. Less
