Nice finish that looks just like images online. Easy installation. Added a floor sealer to give it an excellent look.

For the money, we are very satisfied with the product. I purchased seven boxes of flooring to match an existing floor in our home. My installer is impressed with the quality, fit and finish as well.

I got this product because it was the closest I could find that matched the pre-existing abutting floor. The living room area was rug and the dining area was hardwood. But, was really all one room. I'll post a picture showing the old and new flooring, where they meet up. Another picture shows the flooring after appling a coat of semi-gloss polyurethane. This flooring had no gloss. Plus, I like knowing the joints are all sealed with a coat of polyurethane.

Great Product

Met all expectations for a DIY install project. Color and quality were consistent throughout the boxes I ordered. Scratch-resistant and quiet so far for hallway traffic. Lots of compliments.

Poor quality

The Shaw engineered product installed by builder, K Hovnanian, has a finished layer 1.6 mm thick. The prongs of an electrical cord will dent floor when dropped from hip level. Dropped key chain will tear floor. Since there is only dark grey cardboard pulp under the laminate there is no way to fix the defects. I was told by the builders that this product could be sanded, but there is no way to sand a finished layer which is so thin. Would be more cost effective to buy real hardwood upfront.

I used it because I was trying to match a shaw product already installed in my home. It does not have a very nice finish and getting a sample was a hassle. You have to order online pay for it and then return it to the store for a refund. Would not have used if I could have found a better product that matched.

I installed this in a small closet. It seems to be working well, but this is the first time I have installed an engineered floor. It is easy to use and looks good so far. But I did notice that maybe 25% of the boards have imperfections that render parts unusable. Also, one box was delivered that had obviously been opened and partially used. There were yellow markings on several of the boards. I would have complained, but I had enough wood, and it was very inexpensive, so it didn’t matter to me. I would not recommend using this particular flooring in a regular room.

It has the natural color and has imperfections with dark spots which it makes it look more like real hardwood. It has a nice shine, not glossy. . I just had it installed, so I can’t speak on the hardness but so far so good. Box doesn’t come with instructions for installation but easy to find online
