Best Cutting Board Ever

Love this cutting board. It does not make knife marks and does beautifully in the dishwasher!

Warped! Do not buy.

Came warped a bit - says dishwasher safe and warped even more after a few washes. I do not recommend - this board is terrible.

Buy this!

I've had mine for at least 5 years if not more. It doesn't crack like wooden cutting boards, cleans easily and dries quickly. It's amazing and I've never regretted it!

fibrous finish

I have had my boards for a very long time; bought them when they were first available from Sur la table. They (3) have developed a fibrous finish which rubs off in a nasty sludge when washed. Please advise.

Love it! (but it's not really "self-healing")

If you are super concerned about the appearance of your cutting board, and you use a sharp knife (as I hope you do!), this might not be for you. I find it light, convenient, easy to clean, and a perfect size (I got the second-to-smallest board) for small tasks. And it fits in the dish drainer easier than a plate. But there are scrapes and scratches from my knife, and I don't think they will probably "heal." Still, I don't mind some scratches, the clear sign of a well-loved cutting board.

Just plain AWESOME!

I have 5 of these in my home. 2 I use daily in my kitchen, 2 I use in my downstairs kitchen for preparing snacks or using with our BBQ and the last one is used in the garage by my husband. These cutting boards are easy on knives, fully protect the countertop and it's impossible to cut through them (at least with normal use). These perform so much better than plastic cutting boards. Plus, these are made in Superior, WI and it's a family run business. You can't get better than that! Stop looking for a cutting board and give this one a try. You can also find them in a couple of other colors, too.

Love this board!

After receiving, I washed this board in soapy water. It smelled just like I had opened a tin of Sardines! However I love this board. Use it often, have washed it many times since in soapy water and in the dishwasher. Have never noticed an odor since. (Perhaps it had something to do with the packaging.)

Wonderful Boards.

I just replaced my old Epicurean cutting board with a new Epicurean board. I have had this brand of cutting board for years....since they first came out. Obviously I think they're the best. They last for years and are easy to clean. You can put them in the dishwasher as well. One of the things I like so much about them is how easy they are on my good knives....no dulling or damage to them.

Excellent Cutting board

My husband has been looking for the perfect small cutting board for a while and we were excited to find this in the Macy's in our town. It's very durable and just the right size for everyday use. It does not dull our knives like some of the plastic boards we have used in the past, but our knives do leave scratches on this board. Not a problem since the material is non-porous. Overall, this cutting board was a great value.
