Overstock has the best shipment tracking. All you have to do is click on the link in your email. You don't have to log in or search through your orders. What is not so good is that the search filters on the ordering pages are not specific enough. If you click blue for the color of a rug, Overstock will show you pictures of rugs that are not blue because the rug comes in blue, but the picture is of some other color. As for the rug itself, it is fine, but it did not match the others I had purchased a year ago, even though I used the label on the back of the older rugs to do my search.
Great accent rug to my small living room at my one bedroom apartment. I wanted a contrast from my gray hardwood floors, and this definitely did it. I love this rug! Shipping was fast and packaged rolled up and easy to layout. I suggest you turn it over and put something heavy on it to keep flat at least overnight. No funny smell either after you open it. All in all great product!
This rug is beautiful!
Beautiful area rug! Exactly as described! I like the weight, not too heavy and the pile is perfect for under my dining room table. I do have a non slip pad under it. If you have blue and white dinnerware or accent pieces, you will love this carpet because it has light and dark shades of blue! The background is an overall light taupe color. Some people have complained about an off gassing odor upon first opening the packaging, I didn’t detect any odor what so ever.
Warning: Strong outgassing!
This rug has an extremely strong chemical smell. It is so strong and overpowering it makes your eyes water. We tried to air it out by rolling it out in an air-conditioned garage for two days before bringing it inside, but the outgassing is just as strong today as it was when it was first unwrapped. (You know it’s bad when your super-social Goldens won’t go near it, giving up their favorite spot with the family in the living room to go lie down by themselves in the hallway!). Returning a 18x12 ft carpet is not easy so I guess we will all have to watch TV in another part of the house for awhile to protect our health. The rug is soft to the touch, thin but with a rather stiff and heavy backing that makes it stable on the floor without a pad. As for the color: the blue pattern in the rug is as pictured, ranging from light navy to light cobalt blue, but there is more brown in the light gray/ivory background than expected. I would have preferred a lighter, less brown mottled background but am still satisfied with the colors—the reason for the low rating is entirely due to the awful chemical outgassing.
True to pictures, comfortable but a bit thin
We love this rug. Very much as pictured. I’m quite sensitive to wanting whites to be white and this rug is definitely a nice light color. It isn’t white white, it’s more of a very light cream but it satisfies this purist and looks good against white furniture (see coffee table in picture that is very white)! It’s comfortable on your feet, but would suggest a rug pad because it’s relatively thin. Definitely has a strong chemical smell to it when first rolled out as well, but that goes away after a few days.
I really love the rug. I had looked at other review photos so I had an idea of what it would look like but I was very pleasantly surprised at the colors in person. The quality is good and I really like the blues, greys and whites. The carpet is soft. I included before and after photos; it is a 12x10 room with 10x8 rug. After a day of putting some small weights on the edges the rug laid flat. The rug warmed up the vibe in my den/office which has no windows and should look even better when the room is fully furnished/finished. I would recommend.
I LOVE THIS RUG! The navy seems slightly darker to me online and even in the picture I posted than it does in person. However, I was hoping it was a bit lighter in person as I saw that mentioned in another customer review. The color worked with my space beautifully. The blue is a light navy mixed with bits of lighter blue. The background is a very light gray/almost cream, which again does not seem to capture well in a photo as it is lighter/less yellow in person. Perhaps it’s just my screen. The rug came with a strong smell and rolled up, so I put it face down outside for a day, then a generous dose of febreeze to help with both the smell and for it to lay flat, which this remedy took care of. Again I love love love this rug and am so pleased with how it complements the room!
Well, what I disliked, but was really my fault, I ordered this rug in 6.7 X 6.7 at like 2am in the morning and then decided I wanted 8x10 called the next morning and it was too late to cancel, so I ordered the 8x10, and both arrived today. I put the 8x10 in my bedroom, took me 3 hours, taking bed apart, moving furniture out etc, but it was well worth it I Love it!!! Now, I have to go through returning the small one, but, my fault. They are speedy on their delivery for sure! I would definitely refer to a friend, but a high traffic area because of the blue, white and gray, only. A bedroom is perfect, or a room where there's very little traffic.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose the right size rug for my living room?
Aim for a rug that fits all the main furniture pieces on it or at least the front legs of sofas and chairs to anchor the space.
Can I layer rugs for added texture and interest?
Absolutely, layering rugs can add depth and dimension. Pair a larger, neutral rug with a smaller, patterned rug for the best effect.
What's the best way to clean and maintain my rug?
Vacuum regularly, spot clean spills immediately, and consider professional cleaning for deep stains or at least annually for high-traffic rugs.
How does rug size impact the balance of my living room?
A rug that extends the full length of the sofa can help balance the room. A small rug can make the sofa look disproportionately large.
What should I consider when positioning rugs in relation to doors and furniture?
Ensure the rug doesn't obstruct doorways or get caught on the doors. It should also not interfere with the operation of any cabinets or cupboards that open into the room.
Are there practical tips for maintaining rugs and prolonging their appearance?
Rotate your rugs annually to even out wear and fade, and address spills or flattening promptly to maintain their look and feel. For more substantial size or shape adjustments, consider having rugs cut and edged professionally.
What are some considerations for choosing a rug in relation to the sofa?
Select a rug large enough to cover the area beneath the entire sofa, which helps in unifying the space and balancing the room's proportions.
What is the recommended rug size for a living room with a sectional sofa?
The rug should not be shorter than the length of the sofa and should be wide enough to fit under all pieces of a sectional, or at least allow for the front legs to be on the rug.
Can I use a round rug with a rectangular table?
Generally, it's best to match the shape of the rug with the table. Therefore, avoid pairing a round rug with a rectangular table and vice versa for visual harmony.
