Beautiful rug, it looks exactly like the picture and the colors are rich. I have had this rug for a year now and it still looks new. It has been easy to clean. There was some shedding but that has subsided. Very happy with this purchase.

Does not look as good as photo.

Beautiful design in photo; however, in person the rug underwhelms. Colors are muddy, lacking the deep blue and red shown in the photo. Completely lacking in dramatic visual impact. Too large and heavy to return, so stuck with it.

One beautiful rug!

I couldn't be happier with this rug. It looks very expensive, the colors are vibrant and rich and it made my family room look elegant. It's very heavy and well constructed. No curling or shedding at all. Also, thanks Overstock for delivering even earlier than promised. I received my rug before Christmas and everyone I celebrated the holidays with said it "made the room"!

Gorgeous Oriental Rug

I couldn't be happier with my recent purchase of my Safavieh handmade royal/rust 8x10 rug. The quality is excellent! The rug is more beautiful than I expected. The colors are so pretty. I was concerned about the color described as "rust". It's more like a brick red and I am very pleased. It really brought my room together and looks great with my leather furniture and hardwood floors.

Just beautiful!

I got this rug for my dining room which was recently converted from carpet to hardwood floors. The colors are rich and gorgeous! The thickness of the rug far exceeded my expectations and feels incredibly luxurious underfoot. Probably doesn't need the recommended rug liner because the weight of it makes it stay in place without any problem but I had already purchased the liner. There was (is) very little shedding and I am extremely happy with my purchase. It arrived in two days very well wrapped. It is quite heavy so it will take at least two people carry it inside and unroll. Thank you, Overstock, you've done it again!

Safavieh

I own Karastan and Couristan rugs as well as 30 year old persian rugs so this was my first experience with Safavieh. I am pleased. Love the boldness of the design on the 8x10 rug. Navy is true and the rust changes with the light. SOFT, soft, soft. Very little shedding, no smell. I did need help getting it in the house because it is heavy but stays put and doesnt creep even without a rug mat.

Excellent area rug for the price

My husband and I purchased this rug 3-4 years ago. It just moved 800 miles with us and is still in fantastic shape, plus we're not sticklers for appropriate rug care. I totally vacuum it, it sheds. But, it hasn't faded and feels great still. Great quality for the cost.

thick and handsome rug

I bought this for my mother-in-law's new apartment in independent living. We placed it in front of her couch, under the coffee table. It added a lot of richness to the space. No issues with shedding. It's a thick rug. Nice.

Cheap and Cheerful

Item is as described and colors are acurate. Corners unfurled after a couple days and the rug feels nice and plush. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because the pattern little a little blockier in actual scale--no fault of the images of course, but I was a tiny bit disappointed that the rug doesn't look as intricate as it does onscreen. I would give this 4.5 stars if I had the option.

Great Rug

The picture does not do this rug justice. It is a lovely rich color and very plush., ,,,,,,, I ordered a second one the same size for another area of my home. The folksy motif coordinates beautifully with my home. The red is a rich brick red and the navy border quite dark but still reads as blue. I chose this pattern because I did not want an overly busy pattern. The first rug is in my music room under my grand piano and drum set. Its beauty is not appreciated in that setting, but the second one is placed in an area with little furniture.
