[Rewarded Review] Mildew Smell - Had to return!

I had to pay to return this rug, which was the best case scenario considering how bad it smelled! I barely opened the packaging and it immediately came wafting out. It was so strong I couldn’t even leave it in my house opened because it smelled up my whole downstairs.I finally reached someone I could speak with on the phone. The best they could do is charge me part of the shipping fee to return, which was disappointing because it was not my plan to return it (I would have kept it had it not smelled so bad). The first customer service rep suggested it was “off gassing” and needed a couple of weeks to air out. There is no question about what the smell was - it was very clear. Perhaps that is why it came shipped with a handful of silica packets thrown inside.Really disappointing experience all around and now still have to find a rug!
