BEAUTIFUL DESIGN . . . QUESTIONABLE WORKMANSHIP

Still the most beautiful Floor Lamp I could find. It is taller than most and the shaft is thicker (1.5") than any others. That scale allows using a larger Lampshade if you like to think outside the box. I had to return the first lamp sent and get the same replacement. Yet I wouldn't surrender my lamp for anything ! New York Lighting replaced it with the fastest time withing a few days, not even waiting for me to return ship the original. Very nice design. A pure joy to look at and own. Sturdily built. I found certain defects. Many barely noticable like in the "Paint" finish. Seems to be paint on steel. Could have been produced with more precision. I wish the pole had bee one piece instead of 2 with possible alignment problems. I re-aligned upper and lower by turning bolts.

Bright light!

Purchased this lamp after trying several others from big box stores that looked cool but didn't provide bright light. This floor lamp is a very traditional style and generates a boatload of light for reading and other tasks. Recommended!

Great Quality Traditional Floor Lamp

This is a great new addition to our home. My husband and I are both avid readers and this lamp provides more than sufficient lighting to read by. next to a very comfortable chair. Then when not needing so much lighting for reading, the lamp can be easily adjusted for romantic lighting. It's all good! A great purchase!
