poor quality for moen
for 209.00 I would expect a better product from moen. the tub and shower heads are plastic. the handle cover plate is plastic. the cartridge would not stop leaking in the off position. had to go buy a brand new replacement cartridge for 52.00 for the brand new faucet I just bought.
This shower head is fantastic. Has nice pressure and the magnetic hand held shower head is my favorite part. This if part of your shower and when you need to use it you just pull it off, so easy to wash the shampoo out of my hair with closer pressure. You don't have to hunt for the hook, or slide to return to its position, its so easy to just put it up there and it grabs the handheld with a tight magnet that will not fall off. Its my favorite part. This is my second one, as I remodeled both my bathrooms and I was so impressed with this shower head, that I bought it again for the 2nd bathroom. You won't go wrong with this and I love that it's made by Moen. Sturdy!
When you turn water on it runs out the tub and the shower faucets at the same time. It’s not supposed to do that. Something is defective about it. It was installed by a plumber who said it is defective. What can I do to get a replacement? This thing was not cheap so I’m very dissatisfied!
The product was good, but unfortunately the box had been opened and parts removed. My plumber didn't notice this until after they had installed it and then put tile up. Because we couldn't put it all back, we couldn't return it, which meant we had to buy ANOTHER piece. This is not an issue with the product, it is an issue with home depot :(
Remove the flow restrictor and it will change your life!
I bought this shower head and i thought it looked great when it was installed. When I first used it I was super underwhelmed by the water pressure of both the shower head and the wand. So I figured there had to be a way to solve that issue and sure enough I found a video that showed me how to remove the flow restrictor from where rhe water enters the faucet. Omg when I removed that it was AMAZING! I love the entire device now. The rain shower head is fantastic and the wand is equally great. It’s really super easy if you’ve ever watched any home improvement video. This step is about as easy as anything you’ll find!
A complete piece of junk
No water pressure on either head and settings on wand are irrelevant as they offer no benefit without water pressure. It leaks at all connections and sprays water everywhere except where it’s supposed to. It’s cheap plastic that only looks nice if you don’t plan on using it. Oh and the cheap plastic o ring washer for the head broke in half with no extras (God forbid). Finding a replacement is proving to be quite the challenge.
Low Flow Rate
I purchased this product as part of a shower remodel project; the handheld looks to add versatility/functionally, however the pressure from the showerhead is very very low (about 50% compared to the 10 year old Moen it replaced). Not sure if product is defective or expected to be this low - would certainly recommend a different brand or one with a much much higher flow rate
The entire thing is plastic! Looks and feels cheap
Cheap plastic returning this. Don't recommend at all! I read a few reviews about parts of this being plastic but the entire thing is plastic and feels so cheap! Doesn't seem to be Moen quality and seems overpriced. All PLASTIC - tub spout, entire shower head, and especially the shower valve escutcheon looks cheap. Bad job Moen. Returning this.

The small shower faucet leaks even when the switch is turned off. Also it has only 3 settings and the ad says “6”!! I had the leak problem with the first one and Moen replaced with the second one but that one also does the leak. I am returning this. Wondering if the valve works with any other type of shower. Because I cant take the valve out since it is in. Very poor product of Moen.
Should have been easier
Instructions are bad. It’s not clear on how to mount the mixing valve in terms of depth needed behind the wall. Ended up sweating the copper plumbing 3 times to get it to work. Same issue with tub spout. Leaking where the shower ball attaches to the shower arm regardless of how tight it’s torqued.
Company won't back their lemon product
Loved the idea of magnetic hand held sprayer. BUT the whole showerhead assembly leaked from day 1.
Flawed Instructions!!!!!!
At $220 you would think they could write intelligible CORRECT instructions. If you follow the instructions you will have a 1/2"+ gap between the escutcheon and the valve handle. The picture on the box shows a small gap between the mixing valve and the escutcheon. Following the directions gives a horrible gap. Disgusted. Google "Moen valve sticks out too far" and you'll see many examples of this. The directions are wrong.

Well built and look very nice but water pressure is lower than expected for main shower head. There is also only 3 setting on setting on shower head. I purchase this for $219.00. I expected a little better performance from this Moen shower facet base on the brand and price. Not recommended if you are looking for high pressure shower head or multiple settings.
Looks nice but didn't work well
I remodeled my bathroom, and had the contractor install this shower head. I think the setting features it has are limited for the cost of the product. About a month after using it, water stopped flowing out of the handheld. The next time I showered it was back to working normally, but water would stop flowing out of the handheld sporadically. About a year later, the mechanism that selects the shower or handheld option stopped working. You are supposed to be able to select handheld, shower, or both, but the lever would only rotate without allowing a specific option. At first, I could only shower with the handheld feature and now water does not flow out of the handheld, so I can only use the shower option, this will be terrible during winter. The product looks nice, but I've had other showerheads that cost less and had better features. A good feature it has is that you can attach the magnetic handle while your eyes are closed.
Three years and lever is broken
Hoped that being a Moen product it would last more than three years. The switch that allows it to change from the showerhead to the handheld no longer works properly. There used to be a "stop" that allowed you to know the water flow was either coming from the showerhead or the handheld. Now the "stop" is gone and the lever goes completely around rather than stopping in one spot. It no longer clearly stops the flow from the showerhead to the handheld. There is always something dripping from one or the other, so you don't get the full flow. Also, the coating on the showerhead is peeling off. Hope Moen honors the warranty. Really thought this was a good product and just purchased three Moen similar to it for a new house. Fortunately, they are not yet installed. Will probably return and buy a more durable product.
Looks Great But...Leaks Like A Sieve
My wife and I selected this options for our newly remodeled walk-in shower. It worked great at first, but soon (within the first three to four showers) we noticed that the large and handheld heads leaked water constantly when the water wasn't even on, leaving the shower floor constantly wet. Not something you'd expect from a $200 product right out of the gate. We tried different things to see if we could get it to stop leaking by leaving it on different settings (using the 3-setting knob) but it didn't seem to matter which one we left it on. Honestly, we shouldn't have to do that with a brand new product, so...GONE!

Appearance is beautiful. But, the amount of water that comes through the shower heads is not the very best. And you MUST be careful of the magnet, it's not that powerful. It's come down and hit me two times now. Once when I was cleaning the shower tiles, bruised the heck out of my hand, and once when I hit it with my squeegee after a shower, swung out and hit me in the back. I swore the shower head was out to kill me for awhile! We have three bathrooms, and have this in all three. We are true believers in Moen! They back their products AND their warrantees for life.

The down spout is longer than any other spout we have ever had so had to buy a shorter one or would have had to add to the copper pipe that already exists coming. Too the actual shower head assembly itself has a terrible fit. We first had it professionally installed and the thing leaked a fairly significant amount. We have since tried adding more plumbers tape, tightening it and even tried loosening it a bit and still the darn thing leaks. It is not a small leak either, it is enough to jeopardize the pressure. If we hadn't already installed the valve and other pieces I would return this thing. Unfortunately we will have to spend more money to buy a new shower head as well.
Water runs different temps/ trickles out of sprayer- when button is pushed to stop, Had for 1 yr
Im told it could need an internal ( cartridge). This faucet is barely a yr old. The temp of water goes cold and I need to shut off the water, let it flow through the tub faucet, then turn the shower back on to make warm water come through the shower head.

Once my husband removed the flow restriction device, the water pressure has been good. As sold, the water pressure is not sufficient for rinsing shampoo out of my hair. I bought an after-market showerhead to replace it, and in the course of removing the MOEN to install the replacement showerhead, my husband noticed the MOEN's removable flow restriction device. We have been happy with it ever since he removed that part.
