I Miss Resurfacing Paste

I tried this product after the Resurfacing Skin Paste was discontinued. I did not like it nearly as much. I didn't get the same smooth results and there is so much alcohol in it that I had a burning feeling on my skin and had to remove it. The Skin Resurfacing Paste was one of my favorite No7 products. I wish they would bring it back!

Transformed my skin ✨

I bought this product a month ago and can honestly say it’s now a staple in my weekly routine!

Smooths bumps and lumps

This is the beat skin product I have ever used. I had clogged pores, milia, random bumps on my eyelids. This product even out everything and made my skin smooth after the first use. I can see after the next application or two I will have the skin I had decades ago. My age is close to 50. I can't recommend this enough!!

Shouldn’t have messed with a winning formula

I’ve bought this twice. It’s a huge step down from the Resurfacing Paste that Boots discontinued. The effects after using this are not really noticeable, whereas with the paste you would instantly notice much cleaner looking skin. Also the paste lasted much longer and required less.

Disappointed

Showed no difference in my skin, it’s expensive compared to the ordinary peeling solution. I will stick of the ordinary peeling solution I get better results and it’s cheaper in price. This product done nothing. Not sure why the price is so high for what it is, when there are other products what give better results. Very disappointed.

Best Resurfacing Face Peel EVER

I bought this resurfacing peel on a Tuesday. I'm just gutted I didn't buy more of it. This is absolutely fantastic. I use it a couple of times per week and it's made my face feel so soft. I leave it on approx. 5/6 mins and then take off with a hot cloth. Afterwards, I put some oil on my face and let that soak in. I will definitely be buying this again even if I have to pay full price.

Amazing!

I bought this online on ‘£10 Tuesday’ as an alternative to traditional grainy exfoliators as they tend to make my skin a bit sore these days (I’m 53.) My goodness … this stuff is amazing! I apply to clean, dry skin (cleanse, rinse then dry first,) apply thinly and then wash it off after 5 mins with a clean flannel & warm water. After the first use my skin instantly felt soft and looked clear. After the second use (leaving 2-3 days between uses) the dark spots on the side of my face had reduced. I’ve now used it 5 times and my skin looks great. My lines look softer and the skin on my cheeks is noticeable firmer. It’s a firm favourite of mine now and will continue to use it. If my skin looks this good after 5 uses, I can’t wait to see how good it’ll be after another 5.

No result

Was going to purchase this at £35 but thought too expensive so purchased The Ordinarys version at £6 which actually has 30% AHA as opposed to 15% on the No 7. The ordinary one gives instant results, tingles and your skin feels refreshed. Bought the No 7 one for £10 on boots' 10 pound Tuesday deal. This No 7 was extremely hard to get out of the droplet doesn't come out very well at all, eventually spread onto face, no tingling, left on as instructed and washed off with water. No results just feel like washed face. Save the absolute massive price difference and buy the £6 one which is great.

Bummer

Before this, I use to buy the resurfacing mask that came in the gel form. I bought that product religiously because of how gentle yet amazingly effective it was. I'm very acne prone but it never bothered my skin the slightest. For some reason, that product was discontinued and replaced with this. I bought it expecting the same great results, but this is so acidic and burns my skin so badly that I've only tried it twice. I don't get the same quick results and if I have any breakouts it feels like pure acid unlike the previous product. I'm sad that I can't find a product like the one I use to love anymore.

I like this as a beginner peel much like the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Exfoliating Peeling Solution because it's not super irritating for sensitive skin, it does a nice superficial removal of the dead skin cells and kind of gives your exfoliation a little boost when followed up with a spritz of a peel neutralizer. I smooth a thin layer on about once a week to keep my acne in check since I can get really oily one a month which can lead to some hardcore break outs and sometimes cysts. Since I used differin gel daily, I skip a day on it and use this the day after that. Then I use microabrasion cleaners the next morning and find less uneven texture and tone enjoying the brightening of some dark spots and the slow disappearance of deep scarring from acne.

Just wow!

I bought this on a whim because i felt like my skin has been lackluster lately and knew i needed some exfoliation, but not a scrub kind of exfoliation.

WOW!

I would like to start by saying I generally do not leave reviews even though I'm an avid Ulta shopper (I know, I suck)... With that being said, this is the first review I have ever left because it's THAT GOOD!! This peel was gentle enough for my sensitive skin, faded my acne scars, cleared my complexion and left my skin smooth and soft. My makeup goes on better and my moisturizer absorbs better. This is the first winter in ages that my skin hasn't been tragically dry and I contribute it entirely to this product. If you are on the edge - buy this!! You won't regret it!!

Holy cow- it freaked me out at first because I’ve used glycolic acid products before. I used in my routine for a while, a few times a week. This serum mask is much more aggressive. I say that in the best way possible. It tingled and stung (a tiny bit, a good burn? 🔥) I used a hydrating toner and serum afterwards and followed with my usual eye serum, cream, and moisturizer. This helped soothe my skin after resurfacing. I woke up with the softest skin I have had in a while! I didn’t even need to use that much at all. I imagine once a week will be plenty and this should last a long while. It makes the price point so friendly! 10/10 would buy again and tell my friends and family!

Such a disappointment

Having read the reviews, I bought this product with great excitement! I honestly thought that I would see a major difference to my skin.

Converted

I’ve always thought highly of No7 products and this one doesn’t disappoint. I’m 33, fair and have a normal skin type. Like many others I’ve been extremely weary of what I put on my face and when it comes to acids I wouldn’t have given this the time of day. However, after hearing so much hype about them and after speaking to a few close friends who use them, I decided to give it a try especially as this was a No7 product. The dropper wasn’t great to use, and after the second use I just poured it out of the bottle instead. It doesn’t smell of anything really and once applied, you can feel a slight tingling sensation as it begins to work. You don’t need to apply much as a little goes a long way. I didn’t really notice a visible difference after using this product for a few days other than my face just feeling softer. After two weeks however, I had noticed that my fine lines had reduced and that my pores weren’t as noticeable. You can’t really go wrong for the money and I will be recommending this product in the future.

Good but not life changing

This is a good product. I did see a difference after a few uses. My skin looked smoother and pores smaller and tighter. I didn't notice a huge different to any blemish marks/pigmentation though and don't have enough fine lines to say if it had any impact on those. I had no sensitivity at all, but my skin is very used to actives and I've built up to higher concentrations over the last few years. I have blemish prone skin that is normal-dry and didn't find this broke me out or anything. It's a nice pampering treatment but it's not going to make its way into my regular routine as I have other products that I prefer and feel do more. I do like the packaging with the dropper as it helps you control how much product you're using - I just think I'm beginning more and more to move away from single ingredient skincare toward more rounded formulas that can multi-task.

Great product but packaging lets it down

I have used this several times now. I started with once a week due to it's strength but my skin reacted well and I now use it twice weekly. It applies easily, is simple to remove after 5minutes and leaves my skin with a lovely, soft finish and healthy glow. It's also done wonders for the flakey areas around my nose.

Smoother skin

This is quite a high strength at home glycolic so if you’re new to acids then read the label carefully. I have mild rosacea so avoided using this on my cheeks. The product is difficult to get out of the dropper, clogged up a bit but applied some from my finger tips to forehead and chin. Left for a few minutes, got the usual tingly sensation as it started working and then removed it. My skin was left radiant and smooth in the areas I applied it and would use this 1-2 times per week or as I felt I needed to slough off some dead skin. Good price point and does the job but tricky to get out of dropper.

Soft skin

My skin is clear, I don't get spots but I do have hyperpigmentation around my mouth and it is generally looking dull lately. Despite having Asian skin, it comes out in rashes if I don't liberally apply suncream. So, I was quite wary of making my already sensitive skin even worse as the product warns you to wear SPF afterwards.

Love this

I really love this product! it has worked absolute wonders in my skin! I don't generally suffer with bad skin, however, being a school teacher that is required to wear a mask all day, my skin has broken out in acne on the lower half of my face. I have used this a few times as instructed and my acne has disappeared! Leave skin feeling soft and refreshed and honestly, I will be buying again! The ONLY reason that I have given four stars is because the pipette isn't very effective at getting the product out of the bottle. This peel is kind of a gel rather than a liquid which can make it difficult to suction at times. Over all happy with the product and love that fact that the bottle is glass and not plastic. Great stuff!
