I wanted something thin and easy to vacuum for my 4-yr-old’s room, and this fit the bill. She loves the color, and it’s soft enough to be comfortable to play on. However, it definitely has a ‘new carpet’ odor, which I’m not thrilled with.

I looked far and low to find a size of such kind with price on my mind and this popped into my cart. Oh fart! I have to get this rug and depart the website and go look in the mail. Wow, DESIGN! Most of the photos on the site are overexposed, making the colors look different. The overall affect of the rug is darker than the pictures would lead you to believe. However, the pattern is great, and I actually prefer the way it looks in person than in the overexposed photos here. It's rich and vibrant, and the pattern is just wonderful. You will need a nice rug pad with it to give it some softness and hold it in place. The description calls it boho-chic, and that seems apt to me. It gives a bit of boho flair and fun but still goes well with the mid-century modern look I initially started going for.
