Would not recommend

Unfortunately, I’m disappointed with this rug. After a small water spill, it developed a stain even though I dried it thoroughly. I didn't expect that to happen so easily. Also, there are quite a few pulls in the fabric that I’ve had to trim, and while they can be cut off, it’s a bit more maintenance than I anticipated. The design is ok, but the quality just doesn’t hold up as well as I’d hoped.

It Really is Perfect!

I had purchased a washable rug from another company and never again! Thin, wrinkled and shows every spec of dirt. And it was $$$. I bought this jute blend rug to try in its place and it’s fabulous. I laid it over the washable until I have the energy to remove it! This rug has just the right amount of color variation I wanted, is comfortable on bare feet and doesn’t shed. I’ll be buying another one soon. Highly recommend!!

Rugs make everything better!

I live in a studio apartment. Our small town has taken many of our older buildings and renovated them into beautiful living spaces while leaving them with much of the original look. The twin sisters who purchased my building had a vision! My space was “the jail” in the 1920’s! How awesome is that! My Jute-Blend rug gives my open floor plan such a homey feel. It looks fabulous with the background of the old brick walls. I am still searching out a few more things from you to complete my look! Thanks for helping me as I continue looking for other items at Rugs USA.

Love this rug!

This rug was on backorder and took almost two months to arrive, but it was really worth the wait! It laid flat immediately after unrolling it and the jute is gorgeous, not too yellow. It is also rather soft for a jute rug and the edges are smooth, not wavy. Very easy to clean and my robe vacuum doesn't get stuck on the corners! I bought this one for under our dining room table to help protect our wood floors from the chairs moving in and out, but I honestly might purchase another one in a larger size for the living room. Great rug at a great price.

Beyond my expectations!

This rug is perfection! It is the perfect neutral natural texture to add to any room. I wanted something pet friendly, soft underfoot, and with texture. Often I find jute rugs to be too tough or too smelly, but not this one. It laid flat almost immediately and is such a cohesive base for my room. I wanted the room to feel light, bright and clean… this hit the mark perfectly!! Wish I could figure out how to upload photos bc I’ve never loved a rug more!! (I got the natural color but for some reason it’s showing as the blue in my review)

Natural.

Natural fibers which feel soooo good under bare feet. I was concerned the dye wouldn’t hold up under cleaning, but I’ve had the fortune (misfortune?) of needing to bust out the carpet cleaner for a dog accident on this rug. I will state, that I didn’t go absolutely crazy with the Bissel and that the waste water did acquire a bit of blue dye tint (I also used a shampoo called “ZEP”)…. the rug held up. There isn’t any discoloration after the clean.

Beautiful, but the edges never laid fully flat

This rug is very pretty & cozy. But the edges never laid flat. It came folded, which I think damaged the integrity of it. It should’ve been rolled. Be careful vacuuming and don’t use the roller on the vacuum because it will affect the rug and start unraveling in some spots. Otherwise, it’s sturdy and beautiful.

Jute Blend Runner

The jute blend runner I ordered came quickly and was the perfect size for my space, which I have learned from experience is not always the case ( dimensions were accurate). The runner suits the space ok. It’s in my entry hall and seems durable and comfortable at the same time. I’m not sure it looks like I was expecting though. It’s more cotton than jute, so gives a lighter, casual appearance. It will do for now.

I've had this rug for over 3 years

I'm finally leaving a review of this rug. It's held up incredibly well. High-traffic, two cats, spills, mess – it's very easy to clean and has softened perfectly. My only complaint – the places where our feet hit below the couch have sort of lost color and the fibers are flattened. But over three years of high-traffic use at this price point, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Smells, Doesn't Hold Shape

We've had this rug for about 2 months; we're thinking about replacing it. It would likely be okay for a runner, or smaller rug like in a kitchen -- but for a large living room rug, it's not great. As some of the reviews mentioned, it smells like mildew out of the box, and any time it gets wet. We needed to use a carpet cleaner on part of it, to remove a food stain, and it made the entire apartment stink like wet mildew, even when it had dried. Baking soda and essential oil was the only way to get it back to normal.

Disgusted. DO NOT BUY.

Wish I could give this zero stars.... I can't believe this. My husband and I opened the rug and were immediately struck by the HORRIBLE SMELL. I'm talking can't breathe... it smelled completely musty. If one of us had asthma we'd be in big trouble. We heard nothing from customer service so we left it outside for two nights to see if we could air out the smell. No luck. Eventually brought it back in and tried to vacuum it... LOL.. I'm attaching the photos of what resulted from my first vacuuming adventure. (Note: I emptied the entire vaccuum before starting). I'm now on round 3 and the same amount of DIRT keeps coming out. It's so disgusting. My entire home smells and I can't believe I let this much dirt into my house. Forget trying to even contact customer service also.. I tried and they eventually responded three days later and told me that if it still was a problem in three weeks I could return.. lol... BEWARE!!
