Never stops shedding

I bought this rug 6 months ago. I love the look of it, my family agrees. However no one can tolerate the constant shedding. It covers out hard wood floors within a day of vacuuming, and when I vacuum I do it twice to try to get as much up as I can. It makes everyone itchy when it’s on their clothes and the drugs are shears covered in it. It also has not held up to my kids and dogs. Terrible!

First, let me say that Houzz customer service is awesome, so this review is NOT a reflection of the company. When I received the rug, it was extremely dirty. The ends were not wrapped, so in a very large moving truck, it had quite a bit of grease and dirt on the ends. After speaking to Houzz, they worked to make this right. I have now had the rug for a week, and I noticed there are almost stick like pieces in the weave, and the rug moves a lot which is disappointing considering other reviews said they didn't need a pad with the 9x12. I had the option to send it back, but decided to keep it, so any complaints I have are completely on me. I could have paid a few hundred dollars more for one like I have had for years from PB that I just retired. I know now that I will spend the extra money to get a rug that will last for years. Rug as expected...delivery tho...

The rug came almost a week late courtesy of Home Depot's choice of delivery service. 2 no show appointments and on the third try they had ZERO explanation as to why all the issues or where the rug had been all that time. Package was ripped and filthy with some dirt or something on the back side of the rug but we decided to accept it due to needing a rug and being tired of dealing with the aforementioned HORRIBLE delivery service. I can't recommend ordering a rug from this site. Worst experience ever and we shop online weekly if not daily! Also.... if you are considering ordering a 9x12 rug, you might consider ordering the rug pad to go with. I live in a decent sized metropolitan area and there were no 9x12 rug pads to be found on a shelf. I chose to order from Amazon after the horrid experience with Home Depot's delivery of the rug. Quality of rug seems fine. We have had for a week and a few spots show a little fraying which is to be expexted with a chunky weave. No odors or excessive shedding which is good! Less
