I love the way these braided rugs look. They are soft, warm and have the appearance of a cable knit sweater truly! I buy them frequently for clients. They are affordable and make a room feel comfortable instantaneously. I find them great for family rooms. Being a room that typically take a lot wear, I think this rug is affordable enough to replace if needed down the road. Unlike many others, that can make you feel like you are married to it for eternity! The down side is they do shed and light vacuuming is required for a few months. This does not bother me as the look is most important to me. But I do not recommend for those who would find this an issue. I would also recommend the rug protection plan if you are ordering this in ivory. I had a red wine spill and the company was very responsive. I was mailed carpet cleaner, a professional carpet cleaning service and in the end they replaced the rug. The rug is wool so most stains clean up easily. I recommend and will continue to purchase.
