Incandescent bulbs

There is very little clearance in the bowl in this lamp. I purchased energy-efficient bulbs and they all have additional space at the base that prevents them from fitting.

Nice but with some problems

The description (at the time I ordered) said this takes E26 (standard American base) bulbs, but the one I received takes E12 bulbs, the ones with the small candelabra base. So that messed up the standard-base smart bulbs I had ordered. Also, the bowl hangs too close to the base to accept standard length candelabra bulbs (the candle shaped ones). I had to buy a longer replacement "center pipe" (tip: it's called a "lamp nipple" in the hardware store) for $4 in order to lower the bowl. All's well now, but these are avoidable issues. According to other sites, the correct bulb for this light is a G16.5 with an E12 base.

The light fixture is beautiful but I wished I paid more attention to the dimensions. The fixture is in the guest room which seems entirely too small for the space.

Like all of the other Minka Lavery products we have purchased. The ML 687 is well built, looks good is very easy to install.

Love this!

We purchased 2 of these for our hall way sight unseen. So glad we did! Great for low ceilings. Heavy in weight, but well crafted! I wish more things were made as well as this.

Attractive kitchen lighting when combined with other lights

Beautiful and bright

My house has a Spanish/rustic style and the Calavera collection of lightings goes perfect with the decoration.

Does what it is supposed to do

We bought this to hang in a hallway outside our bedroom and it illuminates the area just fine.
