Very nice appearance. I put two in my kitchen to replace standard fluorescent lights. Being that this holds 3 bulbs, there are plenty of choices for light intensity. I use the SFL's, the Spiral Fluorescent Light Bulbs - lots of light for little electricity usage.
A beautiful, affordable light!
I have absolutely no complaints about these lights. We remodeled the home we just bought and it had 3 light fixtures in the living room with marbled glass but they were $50+/ light. I really liked that look and wanted it in the rest of the house and we needed something a little cheaper for our budget for the 3 bedrooms and laundry room. I ordered these online and got free shipping - I was nervous having not seen them in person first. They came and they were perfect!!! They give nice light for the smaller bedrooms and look great! I suppose you could paint the textured portion the same color as your ceiling but mine were already white.
