Only one of the three light is working.

I wanted to like this light and use it for task lighting in a sewing room but only one of the three lights is currently working.

Photos do not show power connection box in middle of track

It's a fine product, except there is a large box ("floating canopy") in the middle of the track that covers the power connection. This box is not shown in the photos. I had assumed that the electrical connection was hidden somehow, but I was misled by the photos.

To be fair, this was an open box purchase. It didn’t work at all so we ended up buying another light. No returns. It was a chance I took, but the parts seemed cheap and flimsy either way.

Good track lighting

The cylinders were larger than I imagined, but perfect for my high ceilings. They add a decent amount of light too.

I love the design of this set of track lights. I'm going to hang it in my kitchen. I haven't gotten a chance to open it yet. My only concern is the sticker on the package says "Repack"...hope there's nothing wrong with it.

Easy to install, lots of good light, can aim light where you need it - great value Its typical older style track lighting but it does the trick in certain areas - not for a showcase location

Easy to install and looks as pictured. Would be nice to have a better description on the opening for the bulbs. The standard E size were to small for the diameter of the light itself.

I bought this for my master closet, but they were very cumbersome and tacky looking. If you're looking for functionality over looks, these are perfect.

Okay, first off, this is supposed to be a product review, which means that technically the company that sold it to me is not really on topic, but I don't care. Because as much as I love the track light, and I do love it, the service from Build.com was even better. Once caveat that it is important to be aware of is that the quality of the fixtures and the track are relative to the price. The price is very low, and for the price, these are fantastic! But if you are looking for seriously high end lighting fixtures for an exquisite home, these may not be for you. They are mostly plastic and that is fine for me, and probably for most people. But if you spent several million dollars on a home and have brought in master craftsmen to do all your renovations and finishing work, these fixtures may not be what you are looking for. In terms of budget lighting, you won't find anything better than this in my opinion, and the customer support of Biuld.com is second to none.

I love this track lighting kit!

I hope this review can be useful to the next shopper that isn't sure which light set is really good, so that's why I'm writing this review. I shop A LOT online. I depend on honest reviews from people who know what they are talking about when reviewing a product and have more to say than “great” or “can’t wait to give to my uncle for his birthday” which does nothing to help me. I consider myself incredibly handy around the house when it comes to repairs or even fabrication to get the job done. I'm not a tradesman, nor do I have a roll around tool chest in my garage. I'm just a typical guy with average tools who isn't intimidated to fix or improve something.

lots of light

Simple design, gives off great light. Bought to replace existing track light that used mr16 bulbs, which burn very hot & seemed to need replacement frequently. The bulbs used for these track lights seem to light the area better & will be easier to replace.

This product is easy to install

This track light is exactly what I was looking for. It is a replacement for another similar light. I got it for my kitchen which is dark & this light really brightens it up!

Retro value

These ended up looking minimalist and chic in a tight space. The only gripe is that the little black plastic cuffs/rings inside each shade can be jostled loose, creating an uneven, shoddy effect. Once fixed, it's fine and they aren't really getting contact to jostle them, so this shouldn't be an ongoing problem. Since this is not a high-dollar item, I figure flaws like that are part of the deal. Good value, I would say.
