It's that time of year, Spring cleaning! 🧼 🧹 🫧 Maybe you're just getting started or maybe you're like me and you have been at it for months. 😂 One of the biggest tasks for spring cleaning is usually dusting. And I hate it. But it has to be done. This O-Cedar Flex Catch Heavy Duty Dusting Kit seems to have arrived at the perfect time. I've been testing this duster for about a month now and it's been a lifesaver, literally. It is able to collect 3x more dust than a basic feather duster. There is a 3 foot long extendable handle so it can tackle spots that would otherwise require a ladder to reach. The duster is flexible and with the press of a button it can be pivoted into different angles to accommodate even harder to reach areas. My only concern would be the flexibility of the handle. I wish it was a bit more sturdy. While it is necessary for the duster to be flexible, I do find that it feels a bit flimsy and may snap. Lastly, I really appreciate that O-Cedar is focused on lowering carbon footprint by making this duster out of 100% recycled materials! ♻️ Cleaning is hard work thanks to O-Cedar the job is a little easier now.

[Rewarded Review] Effective, but not as Eco-Friendly

The first thing I noticed about it was how lightweight it was, making it easy to hold for extended periods, even while lifting it up to clean ceiling fans, lights, plus all the nooks and crannies where dust and spider webs exist. The 3 foot reach has worked out great since I’m relatively short, and the adjustable head is simple to position for any obstacle with just the click of a button. It very easily swipes and holds onto dust, leaving the surface clean, collecting a lot of dust and pet hair before I had to switch it out. Then, all I had to do was shake and fluff out a new refill, which then easily latches to the handle with a hook. I was able to hand wash them carefully to reuse them more, but it would be nice to see entirely reusable dust covers in the future rather than disposable, even though I appreciate they are made from reused polyester.

Im going to preface this with the fact I love this brand so much I already had the mop and broom so I’m going to be real honest here. I was excited to see there was a version of a very similar item in the brand that I loved…I saw the amount it cost and thought, hey it’s cost effective too…I saw the pads that you under and the stick attachment and I loved how easy it was to change its sizing to fit my needs from reaching high shelves and ceiling fans to my kiddos little hands when cleaning our tv console and their bookshelves etc I quickly found out that it wasn’t going to work out for me the way I hoped and they intended… You see despite having a hook on the stick to grasp the pads when cleaning the pad slipped off, constantly. It was quite disappointing to have to continuously attach the cleaner pad on there…my little even got frustrated and found a rag instead for quicker cleaning. I wish I loved this product as much as I do this brands other products but alas not everything is meant for everyone. I hope maybe it’s a fault in the design they can fix and soon it’ll be of easier usage… They are easy to put on and clean/ pick up dust very well…but in the end the last thing you want to do is continuously re install the cleaner pad.

[Rewarded Review] Effective, I wish it were washable!

This is a very convenient way to clean around the house, with a very flexible head, and it is very easy to use. I'm pleased to see it is working, no complaints, super soft and fluffy. It has an extentadlr handle for hard-to-reach places. I would give it 5 stars if it was washable, I don't think you can wash it and reuse it, I might be wrong though, mine was so dirty so I had to throw it away. Made of 100%recycled materials is another plus. It offers refills,no doubt, it is a great product for heavy cleaning. There is no sliding, and you can customize the head by changing angles, which i find very convenient.

I was super excited try Ocedars Flex and Catch heavy duty dusting kit, however I was disappointed :( The cleaning fibers are made out of recycled materials which is awesome, and from the little bit I used it for, it did seem to absorb dust extremely easily. I really wanted to love it as I already love every other product that Ocedar has, however there is a designer flaw and it's the hook. Not only is the duster very flexible (a big part of their design is how it can clear around things so easily.... the gummy makes it super flexible) but, the duster keeps coming off of the mechanism itself (video attached) despite having it "hooked". It kept happening the entire time I cleaned. Sadly it's a no for me for now. Hopefully they can fix this and make it easier for the cleaning fiber to attach.

I received and reviewed The O-Cedar Flex Catch Heavy Duty Dusting Kit. What a perfect duster! It is extremely lightweight and does the job. The grip part of the handle is very sturdy and flexible and fit perfectly in the tight spaces and corners in my home. The pivoting head can be used in about 6 different positions. It is 36 inches so it was very easy to reach and dust in much higher places. The dusters are so soft, but durable and collected quite a bit of dust. If you’re a pet owner these are great for that too. My cat sheds hair like you wouldn’t believe so this came in handy. This kit is very affordable and a solid product to have in your household. Definitely a must have in your cleaning routine!

Been using this thing for a few days now and I gotta say, I'm loving it for dusting! Here are the highlights: - The handle can stretch out, reaching ceiling fans, high blinds, even the top of the TV when it's mounted. - The head is all flexible and bendy, which makes cleaning those tricky spots kinda fun, and it actually does a good job too. - Plus, the duster part stays put nicely with those little hooks. - And the best part? The dust actually stays trapped in it, doesn't go flying all over the place like with those microfiber dusters. Definitely would recommend for the price as well I love that I can finally reach areas I couldn’t before when dusting

I was excited to use this because of the flexibility it offers. It’s very easy to assemble and has a pointy tip which the duster fits in easily. The handle expands to a bit longer for those higher to reach areas. The duster does not fluff up as much as the swifter duster so don’t be surprised. When using this I liked the piping tip to get into corners but when cleaning other areas, I found it to almost be too flexible and not holding shape for what o was cleaning. I also noticed if cleaning highly dusty areas the duster doesn’t grip it all but will clump it together and you will have to pick it up. Overall, I like the flexibility and it has its use in certain areas of the home, but I will still have to use another option for other areas.

I might actually like this better than my swifter. It is very flexible. The handle and button is a little faulty when locking handle in place but still works. I don’t feel that it traps and locks the dust as well as swifter but it gets the job done. The flexibility of this product makes up for the other little faults. I hate dusting but got my whole house done in just a few minutes. Also this thing is really good at dusting blinds which I also hate cleaning so that is a major plus! I will definitely buy more refills for this and continue to use.

Lightweight, Strong & Easy to Operate. Flexible head allows a fine touch dusting around delicate items, especially high ones. Extendable handle allows reaching behind furniture, tight and high places very well. Rotating head and extendable handle make dusting with this lightweight tool quick and easy for a variety of places. Offset pivot did prevent duster handle from getting in some tight places but performed very well for angling to reach behind items, especially higher ones. Shaking the head before use really helps fluff the cleaning fibers as well as remove the few loose pieces and makes for the most effective dusting. Head and handle adjust by depressing easy to use buttons. Selected to use in our home to eliminate dust and pet hair from hard to reach areas. Kit performed very well, seen by the dust and pet hair collecting on the 100% recycled cleaning fibers which effectively caught and held dust and pet hair. Vacuuming duster head after, and during use, prolongs usage time as well as helps catch stirred up dust as duster is drawn from behind items. A nice medium sized adjustable great performing dusting tool for household dusting. Satisfied & recommend this kit for quick easy effective dusting.
