Beautiful, Sturdy, High Quality

Absolutely love it! Although it's a bit intense to put together, instructions are clear and if you take your time, or get a handy friend on board, you'll have a beautiful, SUPER STURDY desk that you'll love. Note that it was missing 2 specially screws but a quick run to **** did the trick. I would recommend.

The Perfect Desk

This desk is advertised as a writing desk but I found that it works perfect as a laptop desk. It's just the right size for the space I have. There is a heat register below so I had to get something that wouldn't block the vent. The drawers are handy, too.

Quality desk, it did take a few hours to assemble but worth the time .

Solid and elegant

I love our desk, it looks so snazzy in our guest room. It wasn't too tricky to put together and instructions were helpful. I would recommend to anyone

Small midcentury writing desk

Great looking small writing desk. Fits perfectly in a small space. This does require a little assembly. I like the drawers for hiding pens and office supplies.

WFH winner

It was hard to find a work from home desk that checked all the boxes we were looking for - this one really does. It has a small footprint, has a really stylish and unique design, and has some storage. It took a little while to put together but the instructions were clear. It fits in really well with the rest of our furniture.

Easy to build and great quality piece of furniture

So far I'm loving this desk! It took me a little while to put together and would probably go more quickly with 2 people working on it - but overall it was still pretty easy to do! Color is great, quality is great, and the look is exactly as photographed!

Great, large desk

Love this desk! It's very spacious and the drawers are great. I would say that it's a little darker than I thought, but that's okay. Love the top shelf!

Made for short people

It’s nice enough, but my knees hit against the bracing for the legs to attach underneath. I’m 6’1 and have to keep my chair height super low. I would not purchase it again.

I love the textures on this mid-century modern furniture. I originally bought the bedside tables and ultimately ended up ordering the desk because I loved it so much. the only reason I give it a four is that I wish it was real would rather than a veneer. still looks great would totally recommend purchasing.

Nice looking but takes a while to build

Great looking desk but took forever to put together! The size works great in our guest bedroom, and the wood is well made material. Wish it wasn’t quite so complicated to build

The desk looks nice. And it's pretty sturdy construction once assembled. Assembly will take 1 - 2 hours, and you'll want a 2nd person at times. However, if you're taller (I'm 6'0"), you may find that you can't comfortably get your legs under the desk without bumping up against the underside (drawers and desk legs). My wife (she's 5'2") sits comfortably at the desk. Additionally, since it's a veneer over MDF, which you should expect at this price point, it does damage easily. My wife has already dinged a drawer with her chair arm (which is hard plastic).

Need some patience for assembly

Great sturdy mid-century modern desk! It matches the media cabinet I ordered for the living room. I intent to use this desk as my make-up/vanity desk in my bedroom. Assembly took about an hour to hour an a half - lots of parts and steps but this desk doesn't disappoint. It is solid construction and well-made with quality materials. Just have patience and it will be worth it.

Great desk. Time & patience needed to assemble.

I love this little writing desk. For the price, it is a winner. It is not solid wood & it takes time & patience to put together. Follow the directions precisely & in the order given. I suggest wherever there is a dowel to be used, put a little glue in the hole. It will make assembly easier & the desk more solid. Also when installing the drawer gliders make sure you put the gliders right side up. (Look for the letters & numbers stamped into the gliders & look closely at where the screws should be inserted.) I was not happy with Overstock’s delivery schedule. They kept giving me different delivery days (with several calls to them on my part.) It took them over 10 days to produce the LABEL so that a carrier could be notified to make delivery. So overall I would say patience is the key to when it will be delivered & length of time to put together. For me it was worth the wait & the time involved to assemble.
