Bright!
The clear shade just about disappears against the white ceiling and the bronze hardware goes with the other fixtures in the room, so aesthetically, it does exactly what we wanted. We put in 3 40-watt LED bulbs, and it makes the room very bright, which is fine--sometimes you want that, and when we don't, we leave it off and rely on lamps--but because the shade is clear, looking at the fixture when it's on is hard on the eyes. good light for the prices
It's an OK light for the price. The base is a pressed metal about 10 inches in diameter. Not a well defined design, just pressed tin and sprayed. I mat do a light antique rub on it to dress it up. It holds 3 bulbs and is clear so you may want to have it on a dimmer, depending on the application.
Sweet vintage vibe
I love the vintage feel of this light fixture. A bit smaller than I anticipated. I haven't installed it yet to determine how much light it produces.
