Noisy lock, clunky app

I've owned this brand for several years...Why? Well, its the cheapest that matches our hardware but not honestly, it's not a very good lock.

Epic Failure

This lockset is garbage. I purchased one about a year ago, it quit working so I purchased another one to replace it. The second one lasted less than a week. If you turn the exterior "locked" knob back and forth repeatedly (which children will do) it will unlock the door, rendering the lock completely useless. It is unfortunate Honeywell decided to start making locksets. They should stick to avionics.

We installed door lock on our vacation home hoping it would help with access for friends and guests. We have had nothing but problems with the lock. It got to the point we had to install a lockbox next to the door for the many occasions that the keypad wouldn't work. It is now past the return window so we're stuck just throwing it out and replacing it with something else. Some of the buttons on the keypad won't register your touch so it's impossible to open the door. I would not recommend.

very easy to use, didn't like that you have to hit a button to wake it up and then enter the code you made. One of them isn't working at a client's house and will be checking it out.

Solid buy

Buttons do not work

We have had this product less than a year and the buttons do not work. We have replaced the batteries, reset the codes, etc., nothing works. We still have to use a key, which makes a keyless entry pointless. Do not recommend.

Great locking door knob, once I got it to work. Issue 1, the latch didn't work correctly and would not open when the door knob was turned. Remedied this by using the original kwikset latch from the lock I was replacing. Issue 2, getting the iphone app working wax a challenge. However, my wife figured it out somehow and finally got registered so we could then program the door codes. Issue 3, the assembly instructions aren't great. Once the lock was assembled and working, it works exactly as it should so am happy with the end product.

Great Bluetooth lock if don't need WiFi capability

Good if you don't need to depend on having a Wi-Fi connection for it to work as long as you're within Bluetooth range. I had no issues installing or using it and I used the app for it and had no issues either. It is a bit loud so if you want to use it on the bedroom door for example, it may wake someone up if you're trying to sneak out or in;)

Item as advertised and received on time...

These locks look nice, but we had to replace more than one due to craftsmanship. The knob “sticks” and is hard to turn. They also are kinda loud. We purchased four and had to replace two and then still had a clunky knob. Wayfair was great through the process.

Great lock love that you can program online and use your phone to unlock I am using it on a vacation rental and I save 1500 bucks by going with this lock myself!

Got this for my husband for Christmas. It was somewhat difficult getting it to work at first. I will give this a 4. Also the price was a little steep. Other good product

Nice Bluetooth doorknob. I sat on this for a while because I was waiting to refinish my front door. I got the black color it looks beautiful on the wood door.

HONEYWELL SMART DOOR DIGITAL DOOR KNOB LOCK

Worst keypad lock I have ever purchased. Keypad Programming instructions impossible to comprehend, customer service department disappeared. Bluetooth works fine most of the time but all in all a WASTE of money and time. Got locked out when I left my phone home because key pad would not function . Better locks to purchase at a lower cost.

The device was hard but simple to install. I believe the item needs better instructions. After a day of working l fine i come to locked out.
