The height is just a smidge too low to accommodate a standard hand towel
Not tall enough to hold a hand towel without dragging on the counter top.
This under performing product due to the poor functional properties i.e. lack of proper balance is very disappointing for an online shopper to experience. Just what I wanted. I painted it a champagne gold to match my bathroom fixtures and it looks great. I use it next to the tub for my poof and washcloth.

Too short for hand towels… towels drag on counter
This was much “lighter’ than ones I had bought from Bed,Bath, & Beyond before their stores closed. I was expecting this one to be as heavy and metal. It is not. It works but is not a top quality stand.
