Fudged Weights - Inaccurate!

The software for this scale's digital readout rounds to the nearest 10.0 grams. The readout jumps from, for example 19.5 to 20.0, stays at 20.0 for a while, then jumps to 20.5 when slowly adding single coffee beans that weigh roughly 0.1 to 0.2 grams. Software for a scale should not have rounding hacks to make people feel like they miraculously measure exact multiples of 10.0 grams.

I’ve been getting into making better coffee over the past few months, and after I invested in a good grinder (the Baratza Encore ESP), using a cheap kitchen scale wasn’t cutting it anymore. I didn’t want to spend heaps on a fancy brand-name scale, and I came across this one: it’s plastic, sure, but looked to have a great feature set plus a silicone cover. I’ve had it for just over a month now.

I love this scale! It's exactly what I was expecting. The measurements seem accurate and I especially love the rubber cover over it because it's really nice for not letting things move around and slip, which can definitely happen when you're quickly adding things and measuring. It also has some other cool features like a timer, which I've personally never seen in a scale before. Of course it also has all the unit changes and stuff that all scales have.

You are lying to your customers

I was actually about to buy your product until I saw that you were lying to your customers. You even have the balls to just call it "fake". So for everyone that doesn't know the "Currently there are XX people looking at this product." is a complete lie. You can see this for yourself by right-clicking on the counter, go to "Inspect Source" and you can see that it has the class "js-fake_view", which the javascript code automatically updates with a random number (see js code below that is loaded into your browser). This is deceptive and illegal.

Pour-Over Coffee Fan's Scale

This replaced my existing kitchen scale. I have never tried making pour over coffee using a scale before but now it's become a regular thing in my house. The scale came packaged really well, with minimal packing materials. Another thing I really liked right out of the box was the fact that batteries were included. You just have to pull a little tab to let them make contact.

Worth having in homes

The coffee scale for pour over coffee is wonderful. It''s seamless to use and actually having a timer makes it much more perfect and makes works easier. This is an item worth having in your home. I'm satisfied! This item has no delay and faulty equipment. It has a timer. Wow !

Quality scale at a good price

I really like how this scale has both a timer and a weighing feature. It’s perfect for when I wake up in the morning and can only focus on one device while making my pour overs. The quality of the scale is quite good and I really appreciate the fact that they included a kind of non stick surface where the objects to be weighed are placed. I have another scale but I will give that one away because this one is so much better in pretty much every other way. I definitely recommend it if you are in need of a good scale that won’t break the bank

Impressed

For someone who uses food scales almost every time I cook, I was impressed. This Greater Goods coffee scale is versatile. It has a timer that ticks up or down for seeping coffee or steeping tea. It also has multi Unit options to select: grams, ml, lbs, lbs/oz, oz, and fl.oz. I, for one, love the lbs/oz, or grams as I weigh foods for meal prepping weekly, sometimes twice a week. Super important to have a reliable scale. And what I really like about it is its precision.

Great product, exactly what you need!

I like how easy it is to switch between a variety of measurements. While the packaging could use less plastic (and there's a foam piece to protect the scale - between the base) for something more zero-waste or 100% compostable but that's literally the only con of this product. I make soaps and candles in large batches so I need to weight a lot in big pitchers. The base was big enough for this but without making the scale so large that it is cumbersome to store. It fits nicely in a drawer or pantry. This has many uses ahead!!

Affordable Accuracy

This scale offers all of the features of higher prices scales. I use it while roasting coffee beans, then while making pour over coffee. I use it to pre measure our coffee beans onto 18 gram portions. My only wish would be that the scale was just a bit thinner. This would allow me to use it while preparing espresso. The height of the scale prevents me from using anything larger than an espresso cup under the portafilter. Even when using a bottomless portafilter. But overall a great scale at a fantastic price!
