Love it!
This tent is so EASY to setup. We appreciated that since it was so hot when we were setting up camp. It’s spacious, fit a queen sized mattress with plenty of room. Highly recommend for families!
Easy set up, but arrived predamaged
The tent sets up like a dream. But when we pulled it out for the first time, we noticed the bottom was damaged. Unfortunately we are outside the return window, so we are stuck with a damaged tent.
Ripped on the third use
Used this tent twice. Very water proof, as we slept in a major rain storm and no leaks at all. Easy to set up and put away. The poles are built into the tent, so be very cautious setting it up (more so than taking it down) because things can fetch up. On our third use the tent ripped right down the seam as we were setting it up, so we returned it. (Approx. 4 inch rip)
poor quality
the tent is super easy to set up and take down. however I'm finding the floor is pulling and I'm concerned it will rip after a few more take down. the zipper came off during the first use and now I can't get it closed properly.
4 holes in tent
I bought this in May 2023. I had one camping trip in July. When I came home to dry it out I noticed 4 holes. 2 in the sides and 2 on the floor. My guess is something poked a hole through it while being packed up.
EASY ASSEMBLE
This was surprisingly easy to put up … even for one person. I could fit 2 queens size air mattresses inside … made it a tad tight but they fit and left some foot room to get out.
Easy setup but poor product
Used this tent twice. First time was great with an easy setup and kept us dry from the rain, however upon using it for the second time some of the straps holding the material to the poles tore off, the stitching holding the wall panels together at the top of the tent let go which made an entrance for mosquitoes that later ate us alive and when I went to take it down after the weekend one of the platic elbows on the poles broke in half making the tent completely useless. Very dispointed we wasted money on this product.
Tried and True
I enjoy sleeping outside in the fresh air and if I could I would sleep in my tent all year round. I bought this same tent a number of years ago and used it daily for 2-3 months every year for many years. Eventually, I finally had to accept that my favourite tent could no longer serve me. Last year I was unable to purchase a tent that worked for me. However, this year I was so pleased to be able to find that I could purchase my favourite tent so many years later. This tent is so comfortable to sleep in, mostly because of the screened windows and roof - the circulation of the air is wonderful.
Not for 6 person
Purchase this tent recently on deal. the tent is good for 3 to 4 people only. But there is no way you could fit six people. very easy to assemble. I personally prefer the dom tent. The plastic used for locking is cheap quality. Broken one on the first day even before setup the tent. i dont recommend the product except for small family. thanks
easy up, but also tears easily
Set it up in the yard before the camping trip and it was a breeze to set up. Also, gear stayed dry inside in torrential rain and winds. On take down, the tent ripped in 4 different places. The light blue material is so thin and that I don't how it would sustain a summer of camping, let alone a weekend. Will be returning.
I wanted to love it but…
I bought this tent recently and was very excited about all the features. I camp alone a lot so the quick set up was the best part for me! Unfortunately, upon first use one of the plastic pieces that attaches the tent to the leg snapped while I was setting up! One of the windows of my tent is also missing a zipper. Pretty disappointing because I wanted to love the tent and use it for years to come.
Outbound 6 Person Quick Camp Cabin Tent
As claimed, this tent sets up very quickly and easily. Took me 5-10 minutes. I have only used once and for only 1 night, but for the most part believe this is very good value for the money spent. At 6'3", love that I can straighten up completely without touching the roof. The umbrella frame seems very sturdy and durable. It rained on my night out and a bit of water seemed to enter where the fly made contact with tent sides but was otherwise dry. If used carefully, I see no reason why you shouldn't get lots of comfy camping from this tent.
long storage
just ordered and picked up and returning due to the size of the tent in the bag . We ordered it online and when picked up its the largest / longest tent we have seen in any of the stores . Too cumbersome for minimalist packing , won't even fit in our wagon for walk in camping. disappointed.
Amazing tent, fast shipping.
This tent is fantastic! I’m 5’10” and can stand up straight in it. It set up in minutes and broke down in the same time. It did not rain while we were camping so I cannot vouch for its waterproofing. Entry and exit via the D door was mostly fine. The zipper did get caught occasionally. Overall, I’m in love with this tent.
An amazing buying experience
I researched cabin tents and decided on the Woods Outbound 6-Person 3-Season Instant Pop-Up Cabin Tent. Then on a whim I bought the 8-person model and found it was damaged in shipping when it arrived three days later. The Woods support team responded in a few hours and was extremely helpful and understanding. O ordered the 6-person tent I originally wanted the next day and shipped the damaged tent to Woods at no charge. The new tent arrived in perfect condition and was a joy to set up and use when we took it on it's first camping trip.
So much potential, but stay away
I bought this insta-tent after an extensive review. I looked at the W@lm@rt brand, Colem@n brand and decided on this tent because I prefer tent fly's that extend down the sides of the tent as extra protection. I waterproofed this tent with 2 bottles of Wood's silicone waterproofing, and the tent did not leak after being in heavy rain for about 6 hours. This is where the positives stop. The opening where a power cable can come into the tent is exposed and water entered the tent during the rain. The pressure that is put on the extending tent poles when the tent is up, and the fly is secured tightly bent, and broke. Thus when trying to take the tent down it was impossible. Additionally, when trying to pack the tent up, as previous reviews described, there is not enough slack on the tarp flooring and when trying to fold in the tent poles and the bottom ripped.
Do not buy this
Purchased this tent to take my son camping last weekend. Out of the box, the tent had rust marks on the fly and a broken zipper. As I started to set it up, the one pole was not attached to the tent (big problem). The fittings are cheap. The tent uses many plastic components that need to be metal. I will be taking this back.
Tore on first take down
Set this up in our yard the night before heading out camping to make sure we understood how to set it up. Super easy to set up. But in taking it down and folding it back up the pole tore a hole in the floor of the tent. Haven't even used it yet! Patched it with duct tape for the time being but will be very mindful taking it down after our trip and likely return. Only got this tent as a replacement for a different tent we were trying to exchange because a pole broke after 2 uses. Hugely disappointed.
Poles tear through floor when folding up. Cord Pocket/hole lets rodents & water in. :(
I've had this for 1 season. It sets up easily, but when you fold it back up, the poles at the pivoting point create so much tension on the floor fabric they THEY WILL TEAR THROUGH. Mine lasted 4 trips before the pole ripped through the floor.
Great TENT!
Love this tent. Very easy to set up, only takes a few mins for my husband and I to set it up. We have never camped in the rain with it so can't comment if it leaks or not. We have a queen size air mattress and There is still room for a little table in one corner and a lawn chair in the other corner. It's just my husband and I camping but if we had children I would buy the 8 or 10 person tent for the extra room, but this tent works great for the 2 of us.
