I just lucked out with this product. I needed a pastry cutter and Canadian Tire had this one on sale. Every OXO product I own has been excellent and of good quality, so I had no reservations about purchasing it. It is rated as a 4 because nothing is perfect, but is is close.

Blender and more! This product is better than advertised offering a firm grip for blending cold butter into dry ingredients. It also serves to chopped eggs for egg salad; tuna for tuna salad and chicken for chicken salad. It is a must have in the kitchen!

Pastry Blender

This is such a great tool! I’ve been baking for about 70 years…since I was 4 years old. My mother was allergic to flour, so my grandmother started teaching me early…and I love it, but she was old school and used just her hands for everything. It’s a great way to learn, however there are so many things to make baking better and easier…this blender is one of them! I wish I had discovered it years ago…it’s fantastic. I love baking …it’s my “happy place”…and this just makes it more fun!

Pastry Dough Cutter

This style of pastry dough "cutter" has been my "go-to" tool for 50 years. In teaching my 14 year old nephew make make pie dough, I searched everywhere for one to give to him, and finally found this one on King Arthur catalog! I got him a "Baker-in- training" cap and a rolling pin to go with it. He was thrilled!!

It cuts the butter very well before all I had was an old wire one from the 1940s so now I’m spoiled-this pastry blender is comfortable in hand and as mentioned cuts the butterfat very nice. A good buy if your making pastry or are looking to start.
