Poorly constructed

We picked up 2 of these yesterday. Just looking at them I’m amazed there any positive reviews. First thing, no instructions for installation. These are advertised as made of composite which might lead you to believe they’re made of the same material as the shower walls. They’re plastic. Most importantly, none of the seams are sealed. There is a gap between each of the face frame sections and the back wall allowing any water on the shelf to drip down and sit between the face frame & shower wall.

Very cheaply made looks good but it's just too over priced for what you get.

This item is about $100 overpriced, it's made with cheap wood, and cheap plastic. The plastic on the back isn't even glued all the way around, it's sloppy glue applied at the corners, the panel gaps are EXTREMELY noticeable, and are not uniform. I think it's " disingenuous " to label something a Shampoo Caddy, that most people would stick in a shower, yet make part of it out of wood. This piece should be made of resin, and priced around $ 49.95

The back fell off. The corners were not lined up well. Had to calk the whole thing so it wouldn't leak.

The recessed caddy matches great but I never thought about the size relative to the size of my shower. 34x34. It is way too big for the space. It is unfortunate because it was a big reason I liked the flexstone shower. If I were doing anything larger than 40x40 I would use it.

I like it in general, but I thought it was a seamless piece. It does have seams that still show after sealing.

Exactly as described and seems to be well made.

The color is a bit darker than the wall piece. It serves the purpose and still looks great.

I was unable to use the caddy and returned it. My carpenter did not have the tool to cut the wall out.

The pc. look good very sturdy.

Backing on niche was out of square with the faceplate. Cutting a level hole resulted in the niche being crooked. We were able to make an adjustment to the cut out to level out the niche. This is because we dry fit first. A warning to others who purchase this product.

I returned it. Due to gaps and open seams in the construction, you couldn't install this into a shower wall without risk of leakage behind it. You shouldn't have to fix the product to install it, and this is an overpriced, poorly manufactured piece of plastic.
