Power on light

The only reason I’m giving it a one star is the fact that the power light when it comes on is obscenely bright. There would be no way to use it at night. Past that it’s a very nice unit, but I returned it

Addresses our dryness problem.

Keeping house humidity at desired level. Requires weekly cleaning which is expected. That's a bit of a challenge.

Poor steam output. Did not raise the humidity in a small room (much less than 750 sq. ft.) above 35%. Returned it. I don’t recommended.

Constantly turns off. I can’t even make it through an hour. The light is green when it is working and turns red when it’s not working. I constantly have to turn on / off and lift water tank. Most of the time the only way to get it to work is to unplug for 10 minutes. Pain in the neck.

LEAKS terribly!!

This steam humidifier seemed to heat up fast and steam was starting to roll nicely when I noticed water all over my table. It LEAKS from the screw hole on the bottom below the dial and around the bottom of the dial! The screw was tight so it must be leaking around that...but it loses water very rapidly there. I checked to make sure it was seated correctly but it wasn’t the seating...it was leaking from the bottom screw which has nothing to do with the seating. It did NOT leak in the OFF position...so I guess it must be the dial that’s the problem. I am returning it first thing in the morning! I will not be replacing it.

This humidifier measures approximately 10" in diameter and 10" tall. It has low and high settings. A green light comes on when it's in use. It has a small opening for essential oils or medicine. It recommends not putting oils/medicine directly into the water, only in small separate opening designated for it. Once filled and turned on, it heats up in minutes. Hot water vaporizes the oils and you can smell them easily. The steam coming out is actually hot. This will be great when someone is sick or is having trouble breathing with a cold or flu. It's easy to fill up or empty once you are done using it.

I picked this Aircare Essentials Ozark 1 Gallon Steam Humidifier because I wanted a big unit that could run without needing to be refilled too often. The air gets so dry when the heat runs. The unit is easy to operate, you just fill the lift-off reservoir either in the sink or use a pitcher and fill it on the unit, and turn it on low or high. There is a small opening on top to add medicine or essential oils. The unit worked fine for the first couple of days until a red light went on where the on/off dial is. I turned off the unit and looked up the issue in troubleshooting. The manual said that low or no water was the problem, however the unit was full. I turned it on again a while later and it did the same thing, so I shut it off and called the company. They could not shed any light on the problem other than to say that I should make sure the reservoir was on correctly, which it was. I have since been using it during the day but I do not feel safe using it at night, as I never know if it will turn red and cause a fire or something. I cannot recommend this item.

Aircare Essentials Ozark humidifier is a great little unit ! Love the design! It takes one gallon of water so it runs overnight well and it has a nifty little green light that would easily double as a night light too. This unit is beyond quiet making it perfect for use in a bedroom. I love the very wide opening at the top for refilling, no more messy puddles of water on the floor! Pretty much a perfect humidifier!
