This light was perfect for our dining room. I would recommend adding a dimmer switch to make it more of an accent light if you have plenty of recessed lights in the ceiling. Gives plenty of light if you have no dimmer, and looks great.

I was looking for a simple, but modern light for my foyer. This definitely works! It is large, but open so it does not look heavy. The finish I chose was antique gold, which matches my other finishes and frames in my foyer. It is not shiny like brass. It was easy to hang, my husband did it in less than an hour on our existing chain. Obviously, it would take longer if you had to hang it from the ceiling and connect those wires. Comes with the bulbs. Nice light!
