Seems well made

I haven't had a chance to put the carport up yet but after unpacking the two boxes it looks like the carport is well made. It is interesting that the vertical supports are aluminum and some of the main supports for the roof are very heavy steel but I guess the engineers know what they are doing in terms of where to save on weight/where they require steel. Looking forward to getting it set up and having some shade.

This was fairly easy to put together. The cement footing was the hardest. Strong and nice looking.

Unusual and easy to install

First, this is important, keep in mind they are on the low side for a carport. My friend is 7' tall and I get nervous when he gets out of my car lol, but it's fine, he does clear. Other than that, they are modern and sturdy. Check your local wind and snow rating requirements but I got two of these and I'm happy.

Better than the standard ones

There isn't much to dislike about this product. I've had my eye on it for about 3 years and I'm so glad I finally pulled the trigger. It's exactly what I needed to provide coverage for my SUV, which was getting beat up by the sun, rain and gassy birds.

Beautiful, well built, eye-catching, strong

I just had my contractor install this for me. It took two guys. The carport is beautiful. Talk about adding curb appeal. Very well built and I am happy to see that an EV charger can easily be put on the carport post. So happy with my decision to buy this. Thank you for the beautiful and clean design.

Great carport kit

It came on time and went together like an erector set for big kids. Two person assembly in 5 hours. Once assembled it s nice and sturdy. Has already stood up to a foot of snow and 40 mile per hour winds. One missed part in packaging was fixed with a phone call picked up on first ring. Part came the next week. Excellent customer service

Modern Alternative to Standard Carports

There isn't much to dislike about this product. I've had my eye on it for about 3 years and I'm so glad I finally pulled the trigger. It's exactly what I needed to provide coverage for my SUV, which was getting beat up by the sun, rain and gassy birds.

Poor Engineering.

Don't put under any tree. Gutter plugs up and you can't clean it. Had to take a sawsall and cut off half of the gutter. 2' wide plexiglass panels brake. 1 new one cost $210 and shipping was $318.84. Total $528 for one panel broke from one small tree branch. It took 31 days to get just a shipping quote. Engineers please redesign the rain gutter to not block debris.

Impressed with the build quality

I'm impressed by how this carport stands up to extreme weather. The materials are clearly engineered for strength and durability.

It really looks great. We like the cantilever sleek look great quality.

Not easy, but definitely rewarding

This was a doable DIY project. The sliding panels were the trickiest part, but with some patience, it all came together well.

Excellent carport

Love the style and am very pleased with the shelter and the experience I have had with Grizzly.

This is a stunner and my neighbors have all stopped by to ask where it came from. Please be sure to check that your town may demand a permit that will need an engineer's stamp for it to be erected. That was something I discovered.

Poor. I mesed up. Snow load for Lead, SD, is 75% higher than my unit. Enginer on board to fix the problem

Shipping of this carport was excellent. We asked for a delay and then for a specific date. Grizzly responded to every inquiry and the shippers as well. Everything went perfectly. I’ve delayed 4 months on reviewing the shelter because we cannot find contractors to form/rebar/concrete the footings. So, fingers crossed, all the parts are there and we can secure a contractor. Highly recommend Grizzly Shelter.
