NEEDS A LITTLE HELP
This chair is comfortable. The design is lacking in a few places. The spring loaded piston had a annoying squeak when I used it for the first time. The easy fix so far has been using WD-40 . The pivot bolt should have a race to go through the frame mount, as the design uses the machine bolt against the mount . I hope I get out of it what I gave into it ? I shall see
as a heavy guy chair tend not to last me very long. im just over 300. the chair is comfy for me. i also like the ability to rock or lean back. the only issue i have with the chair which for me its not a big deal. after a few uses it started squeaking when rocking. im sure there is a way to fix that but like i said doesn't really bother me. i would recommend this and do recommend it to people all the time
Comfortable Chair!
I’ve been wanting to get a rocking chair for a long time now and I finally did. Definitely worth the investment! With the XL size it is very comfortable and spacious. Great chair overall. The only issue I have is that I wish there was a small side table or something similar to hold your items. This chair only comes with two small pockets, one for a smaller bottle and the other for something thin/flat like a phone.
Great chairs but I think they are high even though marked down…. But that’s just me! We had two previous same brand chairs. One broke on the weld of arm to back and the material on the other just basically disintegrated but we used almost every day over past couple of summers. I noticed these have a warranty and will check that out so perhaps the price will not seem so outrageous. Also…Thank you for free delivery!
Rocking My Golden Years
I love this chair! It is very comfortable. I didn't know if I would like the rocking feature but I can't imagine not having it now. The first time I sat down on it, I automatically sarted rocking and didn't realize it. Love sitting out on my patio and enjoying the birds, squirrels, and the fruits of our labor with the flowers and plants my husband and I have been doing to fix up our yard. The chair is comfortable and gives support to my back. I can sit and rock for long periods, sipping my coffee and enjoy the beauty around me!
Quality Chair
Really sturdy chair with smooth rocking. Pricey but worth it, seems built to last.
Love my rocking lawn chair
I love this chair! I’ve always rocked since I was little and love rocking in a rocking chair. So to have my outdoor chair with one leg tucked under and one leg pushing on the ground while rocking is so relaxing. Especially sitting in same position stationary hurts my back after a while. They also say rocking is a mechanism to soothe pain. Now I know why I like to rock so much!
you will not regret this purchase! promise
these chairs are amazing. solid! even for the larger well endowed people. it has a little rock to the chair. we own 3
Buy the chairs
For 3 soccer seasons now, we’ve wanted to upgrade our chairs. BUY THE CHAIRS!
Could be a bit more comfortable.
Seems pretty well built. I'm 5' 11" and about 200 lbs. Feels like the center of gravity is a bit off. I feel like it leans back a little too far when just sitting statically. Also, there should be a downward taper at the front of the seat. Because it doesn't have one, the front of the seat presses into the backside of your thighs. That gets uncomfortable after sitting for a while. Just purchased, and plan to use for a fair amount of time before choosing to keep or return.
Better than advertised!
These chairs exceed what I expected from their description. They are light, strong, and very easy to open and use. They close/fold up equally as easy. They are very comfortable, rock nicely, and won't allow you to go back too far and tip backward. They are equipped with a drink holder and a cell phone pouch. You can't ask for more. The chairs are also equipped with cylinders on the rear legs that gently assist, pushing you forward after rocking back. Nicely priced, well made, and functional. I couldn't be happier with this product and purchase!
These chairs are so much better than the normal camping chairs. We have two grand boys who play baseball and these rockers have been a lifesaver for us. The only complaint we have is that when you try to sit straight up instead of leaning back to rock, there is nothing touching the ground on the front legs and so it tilts forward and sits you in an awkward position. (Why I gave a 4 star and not a 5) If you are like me and mostly sit leaning back with your feet on the fence, these chairs are the best!
[Rewarded Review] The XL is much more sturdy.
I bought one of these regular rockers when they first come out a few years ago and They were absolutely junk. I had to return them and get my money back so when this style come out and I had a more sturdy weight limit and I decided to try them again. Everyone in my family has one we take to Ballfield and camping and they are truly well worth every penny. I would absolutely recommend them and buy them again. I just wish they were a little bit cheaper.
Disgusted with online purchase of chair.
The chair came in a huge box that was beat up terribly. It was taped up as if it was opened six or seven times. The box was 10 times bigger than the chair itself and just bouncing around in the box. Also, the chair was not wrapped in plastic didn’t have any labels on. It didn’t have any indication of what it was. It looks like it was an old chair that was laying around somewhere, and they threw it in the box and sent it to me.
Not for us property not for you either
with a husband at 6'4 having issues from the pressure of the bar underneath the top part of the leg, That's probably a problem. The fact he's so tall yet his feet touching the ground. the bar is still too high. it also squeaks every time you rock you don't get to rock a full rock. it's just like little halves. You ever been in the baby rockers? That's how much it rocks! it definitely was not worth $75 a piece and I regret my purchase.
Quality Chair for Big and Tall
I bought this as a gift for my husband. We've been looking for a camping chair that's comfortable and can support a man of his size (six feet tall and heavy set). The ones I've seen in the past have been crazy expensive. This chair wasn't as expensive
Loved it at first, but time hasn't been kind
We bought 2 of these chairs last year around this time and absolutely loved them! Perfect size, the rocking was fantastic, and the side pocket is a nice little extra. However, they have not held up well. I know several people have complained about the squeaking if you don't oil it. That is bothersome, but no biggie. Our fabric has torn on BOTH chairs! At first it was just fraying, but now the whole stitching has split on the back of one of them. Neither my husband nor I are large people and the chairs have never been left out in the weather. They are kept on a covered patio. I've had the cheap Academy folding chairs last longer than this after being thrown around and left in the rain and sun. Makes me sad because like I said, we loved them in the beginning.
It’s okay nothing special
The size of the chair is perfect for larger people. The material is somewhat scratchy and doesn’t feel good when bare skin is touching parts of the chair. The worst part are the arm rest. The material, the Velcro, the padding move to much and it’s never in the right position to rest your elbow or forearms. So I would say average at best if you can cope with the poor engineering of the chair. Lastly the air cylinders squeak. Get some WD40 then figure out what’s squeaking and give it a spray.
Fits a big person, but not for me
I liked that it fits my large husband with the weight limit and the wider seat area. He fit, but it rubbed him at the hips. But he said it was comfortable. What I didn't like about it was the short seat area. It was taller for me so my feet weren't flat on the ground and where the seat hit me on the back of the thighs, I would be uncomfortable sitting there for an extended period of time. If the seat were deeper, it would be just perfect for me. I did not try the regular version (I actually went into the store looking for the regular size, but it was sold out.) So I don't know if that seat is deeper or if the chair is shorter in the regular version of this chair so that I don't feel that the edge is cutting into the back of my legs. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep both chairs, since I bought 2.
Great for those that need a little extra help getting out of a chair.
Love this rocker for my dad! He recently has been having health issues and getting out of chairs has become difficult. He loves attending the grandkids sporting events but needs a chair he can get out of. This one is PERFECT!!! The sturdy arms help him push up and out. Plus the sturdy seat is higher so he can get his legs under him. The extra benefit of it being a rocker he LOVES! He loves that he can continue to attend the grandkids events!!! Thank you!!
