Great for behind furniture
This is the only cord I will use behind my furniture due to it being flat.
I should have paid closer attention. I didn't realize the cord is so short. But I have made it work. Yes try it out.

Needed short cord plug as I only have one outlet in my bathroom. Used the Target drive up service (which is ALWAYS a fail!) and was given a black plug when I ordered the gray and white. Had to return it and couldn't find it in store so...just ordered one on Amazon.

Great for behind book shelves
Exactly as described and what we were looking for. These allowed us to put bookshelves where we wanted without losing an outlet or having to deal with an unnecessarily long extension cord.
Not a surge protector
Arrived today. It’s not a surge protector, it says extension cord %26 says nothing about being a surge protector. Description needs to be updated as it’s being advertised as something it is not. Returned it. If you’re looking for a surge protector, this is not it.
