The fireplace doors were as shown on the display. The quality was very good and the installation was simple & easy. I added high temperature caulk (gray) around the frame for a high quality installation. I would highly recommend spending on this upgraded product.
Not Flush with the Surface of the Fireplace
Aesthetics aside, the design is not thought out very well. There is an edge at the top of the frame which is protruding more than the bottom. The result is that the surface of the doors cannot become flush with the surface of the wall around the fireplace.

This is a ready to install kit which provides everything you need other than scissors, gloves, screwdriver and measuring tape. I like how thick the handles are and how the sides have decorative columns. I also like the hammered powdercoat finish as well as the lightly tinted glass which helps to hide the crusty bits when not in use. They're tempered but it's advised to keep them open while a fire is active in order to prevent blowout. The screens have tabs on them which are adequate enough to grip and quickly open when needed. Install is easy and shouldn't take you longer than an hour. The assembly is heavy so be careful not to drop it. A second person is helpful to hold the doors while you secure the 4 bolts. There is an install video available online in addition to the instruction manual. Stay warm out there!

The is is a beautiful, solid, good quality fireplace doors. I was impressed with the quality. It is very heavy too. Wrought iron. Everything comes in the box, ready to assemble. I did have to make adjustments to my fireplace since the stone did not let the whole doors go in place at once. You will need another pair of hands to adjust it to your fireplace. Once installed it looked beautiful. I couldn’t be happier. I would definitely recommend these doors.

This metal and glass hearth fireplace doors set includes all the hardware for mounting. Note this is meant for fireplaces that vent to the outside, it is not meant for zero vent fireplaces. These also come in different sizes so make sure to measure your hearth opening before ordering. My medium is designed for openings of 37” or less.

Beautiful glass fireplace doors with the hammered black finish that exceeded our expectations. It was well packaged and nothing was missing. Although, the screws for the door handles could be about half an inch longer to have more metal to grab onto. It came with a very thorough instruction manual and helped a lot since this was my first time installing fireplace doors. There are basically only 2 mounting assemblies keeping this secured to the fireplace. Very easy to install and doesn't take much time but just watch the doors that could swing open unexpectedly. Also learned that you need to keep the glass doors open when there are flames because they cannot take the high heat. Looking forward to the energy savings all year round too.

This is a really beautiful fireplace door set. It’s super heavy and made from a really high quality material. It has a hammered iron ore. Look to it. It has some detail on it but not too much so it’s not going to fall out of trend anytime soon. It’s tastefully done and it looks really nice installed. I’m really glad we went with this one installation was pretty straightforward and easy to understand. It’s a great product and I would suggest anyone who needs a fireplace door to use this one.

[Rewarded Review] Excellent quality and beautiful doors!
The Pleasant Hearth Glass Fireplace Doors are excellent quality doors. These doors have dramatically changed the look of my fireplace! The doors have a beautiful Hammered black finish, the doors are fitted with tempered glass and I really like the mesh fire place screens. The doors open and close easily and have magnetic catches for both the screens and the doors. The doors are also very easily installed with easy to follow instructions. The entire installation time was less than 30 minutes. I can highly recommend these doors to beautify your fireplace, you wont be disappointed.

right glass door is defective
Very beautiful but it has a manufacturer defect, the right side door handle cant be installed because glass is covering the hole and the screw cant go through it. I will be returning it to the store
