It wasn’t available in polished brass ….had to get white which doesn’t look good with the polished brass door knobs and handles . Very disappointed !

Turned out to be the wrong style and they had to be returned But we found what we needed in the store
There’s two little pins the hold the spring in place . From installing and closing the door those pins fell out , could not find them they’re so small . So I had to tap to 8/32 and put two small screws in . The screws should not fall out now . To expensive, $15 a piece is what they should be .

Just what I needed to replace the same worn out spring hinges on a very old outside screen door i had refinished. Easy adjustability for closing pressure makes it easy to set the door so it closes softly rather than slamming shut. Took one star off cause the mounting screws are pretty short for using on a door, even a light screen door like mine. Consider using longer screws depending on your application.

Beautiful traditional hinge. This is the only company I found on the web with the unlaquered brass.
