The threads had trash in them and I was not able to attach it to the shower head. I retuned the shower arm. The quality was not what I would expect from a Rohl product as I have a Rohl shower faucet and rain shower head . The metal felt thin and light. I would not recommend purchasing this shower arm.

Well, I used a high end heavy well made Kohler rain shower head.....unfortunately, when it filled with water it literally bent this down. It probably will work with a hollow, very thin walled cheap rain shoer head .....but not a heavy chrome well made Kohler. Live and learn.

It also has a plastic insert in the exit that is installed crooked in both the units that I received and is not removable. It interferes with a proper gasket seal. For the price, I expected better. This was my first and will be my last Rohl purchase.

I recently had an exposed shower system with 8 inch rain head installed in my bathroom. But the included shower arm seemed just way too short (measuring 16 inches from wall to center of shower head), and the manufacturer did not offer any other lengths.

bad threads... won't screw in

We bought two of these shower arms and neither would screw into the wall pipe. The threads were all messed up. How is that possible? I returned both.. bought one from American Standard and it was perfect. How can anyone screw up the 1/2 threads on two different pipes ordered on different weeks. Will never buy another Rohl product. But Build.com took are if it so we're still happy with them.

I bought this Rohl 1120 polished chrome Bossine 20" wall mount shower arm to support a rain shower head that was installed in our remodeled bathroom. It was easily installed and works wonderfully with the rain shower head. It looks great too.

This looks great, and if you take reasonable care, it will not mark when installing. I have an 9-10 inch wide grohe shower head, and I was concerned the weight of it might be too heavy. The arm accommodates it well, with barely imperceptible bending, but if your showerhead is larger, I'm sure it would bend down a bit with the weight.

I purchased a 10" rain shower head and needed a shower arm long enough to move the head away from the wall. Initially I tried a 12", but soon learned it was not long enough in relationship to the shower head. I purchased the 20" and it works perfectly. The Rohl Shower arm is a quality product, sturdy and strong. I recommend this product.

This is a good product. I've been using it well over a year, maybe two or three years by now. Never a problem with it. It allowed me to extend the large rain shower head to the middle of my shower and I love it. Very good product and quality.
