This shelf is lovely, quite heavy and large (exactly the dimensions provided in the description). In the picture with the towels, the pink is a standard hand towel like what comes with a bath set, the white are two washcloths (sorry, actual bath towels haven't arrived yet, but they' fit very easily folded normally or rolled). The picture with the plant, that's a fairly large spider plant that even when freshly watered will be under the 15# weight limit. I really like this shelf, and would highly recommend it.

Horrific customer service from manufacturer

This shelf turned out OK. But I bought two of the matching towel bars with glass shelves (Motiv 0219T-18) -- these were a total disaster. Turned out that the bars were made 1/4" too wide and didn't fit the glass shelves. The manufacturer Brasstech (which also makes Ginger and Newport Brass) has been completely unresponsive -- although FaucetDirect was great and sent me replacements right away. Hard to believe that there could be a quality control defect like this, but even harder to believe that the manufacturer would give such lousy service. I will never buy another product from Brasstech again.

this style shelve can support a lot of weight if you use spring hinges (butterflies) on the Sheetrock.
