American Standard lies

I feel violated. After providing my email and phone number and agreeing to receive texts from American Standard in order to receive free shipping, I provided my address and credit card info, only to get a note from American Standard saying they cannot ship free to my house in California, and adding in a shipping charge. I cancelled the order.

Easy to install, works great. Only a couple little drips come out when the diverter is pulled. I've never seen a diverter that is completely water tight/dripless. It was easy for this 68 y/o DIY lady to put on. Very reasonable price. Shipped to home fast.

What I thought would be a super easy project turned into such frustration! The screw that goes into the spout would not tighten. The hole seemed stripped and the screw could be pushed out. I had to run to the local hardware store to get one that would work. This one was returned.

Reliable, works in a pinch!

I have a rental unit where I decided to spend a bit more on a tub spout from a different well-known company, and it failed only after a month. Luckily, I had one of these handy and had my plumber install the unit. He told me that these types of diverter tub spouts are incredibly reliable and their preferred units for installation. Would definitely recommend these for a super reliable spout!
